This scammer claims to be 42 from the UK and British Kazakh. He claims to fall in love with you, then travels to a foreign country for business, then needs money for insurance and asks you for money.

Please be careful with this scammer, and do not fall for his lies and do not send money. He steals photos of kudaibergen kairat who is a Kazakh politician.

Scammer Rafael Mendoza
by: Anonymous

Hi all, I would like to tell you about a scammer on Badoo. He calls himself Rafael Manuel Mendoza DOB 15/11/1974, background Brazil but moved to US since a young age. He claimed he is a widow with 2 kids Anna 12 and Pedro 15. His dad died when he was little, brother died in a car accident and wife died some years ago in an accident.

I guessed he told this to receive mercy from you. The very first days were ok. He sent many pictures of him and the kids, send sweet loving message everyday, but sometimes it is repeated (he has a collection of sweet messages and sometimes he forgot he already sent them to you or because he sends them to many people and doesn't remember all).

Also video called everyday but I guessed it is a fake because I see some duplicated video too (exactly the same scene with previous video, I guess he used an app or AI to make a fake video). He may send you his passport to convince you that he is serious with you and has nothing to hide from you. But his passport is 100% fake.

After some weeks he claimed that his bank account is blocked due to some fraud transactions and he starts to ask for your money.

Please be careful and don't transfer him any money. He is absolutely a scammer.

His phone number +1 (786) 591-7056 and +1 (305) 721-2318 and +1 (305) 257-8853. He used some different numbers in a different conversation app.

Bitcoin Scam in Badoo
by: Anonymous

This man named Fan Jiang supposedly from Japan said he owns a lot of business, and even a ferrari. He told me he got it thru Bitcoin trading.

He insisted me to join bitcoin trading and even asked me to create a profile with ACK (www.otb123.xyz). He asked me to top up money and more money. At first everything seemed right. I was able to withdraw without difficulties.

Second time around, when I topped up a lot, and we traded, I could no longer withdraw money. When I contacted ACK support, the agent told me I haven not yet completed the 20,000usd credit which I owed. This was never informed to me. I won’t take any 20,000USD! That’s a lot.

Nevertheless, I completed it by recharging more. Now that I am trying to withdraw, and after the assurance of the ACK agent that I will be able to withdraw, they are asking me to pay tax! This is absurd. Again, this was not even stated on the app description. I am reporting this matter to our legal authorities, and I am posting my story to any online forum I can.

I was scammed!

Talking to this guy he is suppose to be 38 from Manchester UK and has own business but when chatting with him the photos he has on his profile don’t match with how he is talking. I’ve had a gut response so I outed him. He then said why would I say that and was I insulting him, then a photo of him was quickly sent.

I’m not stupid and he wanted my cell phone number, definitely not having that as he said he was travelling for work and wanted to talk to me, but I said no and I asked him why call the phone a cell if you're from Manchester & UK as we call it a mobile, and he then said I wanted to do the American scene but no 38 yr old would say that, so that’s why I know it’s a scam

So I paid $75 to chat. I chat with one person 3 times and was cut off and told to pay more money to continue the conversation. An image of the same woman kept sending me messages after I didn't pay, asking me to contact her because she missed me. She was attractive and much younger than me and suggesting romance and dating.

I matched with this person and like another person on here stated the scenario unfolded pretty well like his. Mostly the trap is she gets you to talk about adult things then says shes not an adult. Then her dad says hes going to contact the police if you don't pay x amount of money using a pre paid card like money pack or cash app.

I actually talked to the scammer and he seemed genuine but after reading the almost identical story from another person I think that this is a scammer and the man's number is 586 217 4022 .

by: US Veteran

BEWARE OF SCAMMER!!! The Spanish Diva from Ecuador, named Gianna (screen name), another name she goes by is Crystal Rodriguez. Lol. Lives in Hackensackm NJ. Works at Shoprite Inserra Supermarket as some kind of a manager.

Her cell phone number is 201-923-2678 (2019232678).

All good for a couple of days, very intrusive with texts and phone calls, tries to get some level of trustworthiness from you, then on day 3 complains that her paycheck is $400 less this week because of some payroll issues.

When you tell her that you don't know her personally and can't really send any money to a person you don't know she will say something disrespectful and disappear.

Don't waste your time with this basic phishing scammer.

Underaged or scam?
by: Anonymous

So I went on the app and this girl matched with me instantly, and we went from badoo chat to sms texts and we started to sext, after we both sent pictures, she kept asking if I’d keep her secret, but I had no idea what she was talking about so I just said yea, and than the bomb hit.

She said she was 16 and she kept saying I’d get mad and she seemed kinda weird so I didn’t know how she would react if I did tell her I was mad, I was, so stupidly. I asked for another picture of her breast but with her face in it, but she never sent me a selfie of her face from that actual night it was an old pic, and 2 of the pics were different one pic she had a belly button piercing and in the next she didnt.

her dad called me the next day, and said he was gonna get the cops involved and I explained how it would ruin my life so he said he’d talk to his wife and call in 5 mins. He called me back and than said that they’re gonna take her phone off the contract but I have to pay them $400 on a disposable card.

Kinda suspicious cause he said he’d take the phone away but her badoo profile said she was on an hour ago, and that was like 4 hours after I talked to her dad so what to think

Alias Fabio Decani
by: Anonymous

Fabio Decani is just one of the the names he goes by. If you go to Ford53@Lagos&Badoo you will see many photographs and names. He was lovely and being a widow and lonely I soon fell under his spell. He said he was Italian but was living in Rochester, New York. At the time he was working out at sea in Sydney Australia drilling gas and oil. We had long conversations and he said that they where going to start drilling that day, the next day he tells me there had been a terrible accident and the man that was drilling was in hospital and in a coma.

He told me that he had to get back to America as his account had been frozen because of it trying to be hacked and needed to sort his account because he had to get a new engine and did not want to lose his contract.

He asked if I could raise a fair amount of money but I explained I was a bankrupt but in the end I sent him £500. He then says that he got to the port and they would not let him go as he owed taxes and took his passport. He promised he would send the money as soon as he got back to America but he still kept on saying he was coming to the UK and he would buy a house in my name and he would take me to Milan to his Mansion and we would get married.

We still had contact not so frequent and today was supposedly his birthday and I sent an ecard but tonight all his conversations and photos have gone.

I am going to blast him across face book and warn everyone against him

Emma, Emily Liverpool real but scammer
by: Anonymous

I am a Badoo user in liverpool. A few days back I matched with a girl and after normal talk she offered to come to my place at Liverpool. Most of the times it was very late in the nights after 10:30 so I ignored for for 2 weeks. This Friday she again told me and to check her I did the video call and she was the real girl and she was very happy and told me that we will chill out in the night with drink and food and party but she needs 95 pound. I agreed and started for her location. I asked her to give me her phone number in case the net is not working so I can contact her. She said she has a new number so don't remember it.

She told to come to MacDonald at aigburgh road and it will be easy. She was real so I was comfortable and she was also talking friendly and we walked toward her home then near spar store at petrol pump she told me it will be cheaper here for coke and other stuff I give the 100 pound I will take it from there and wait for me for a second. I agreed and that is the blunder as she was gone and did not come back.

I tried after 15 minutes to Badoo but she blocked me so no video call, no message delivered.I realised she made me a fool. After searching for her for the next 30 minute I came to home and in that time she has deleted her account and created a new one with a Emily name so beware with Emma or Emily etc with real photo and living in L17 postcode in Liverpool.

I reported the issue with Badoo with the girl photo but not sure if they will take any action to bar this girl so she will not cheat others. The good part is that she was asking for more money for lemonade etc but I told I have no cash in that manner at least I have some cash to pay for taxi and come back to home after 1 am.

Venezuelan Scammers
by: James

Be careful on Badoo because there are people claiming to be living in Venezuela and living in poverty. I came across a profile of a 22 year old girl named Sol. Supposedly she was living in Venezuela with her family and had a relative in Miami. We talked a lot for a couple of weeks on Whatsapp. We shared pictures, video, and audio messages. Eventually she started with the whole nonsense that she is broke and her family has not eaten for days.

I told her my concern and wanted to do a live video chat to which she agreed but never got around to doing. She kept asking me to buy her a 50$ Amazon gift card and send her the transaction id and card number so she can trade it for food.

I told her it will be a while (couple months). We continued to talk and I got her to send more pictures to me. Eventually I noticed that she was getting a lot of new stuff on her dresser and her room had been rearranged a few times. She was loaded with a lot of hygiene products and clothes in her room. For someone with financial issues it was pretty odd to hear they had no food or water but yet she has internet, more hygiene products than anyone I know, a new clock, new bedsheets, and new clothes rolling in.

I began to question her family employment and she said she makes 10$ an hour. Wait. What happened to Bolivar currency? She slipped. Her phone pinged back her location to Miami and uploading her contact to my facebook and Instagram revealed profiles of someone living in Miami (her friend). Immediately after all the questions she blocked me on Whatsapp and changed her Badoo location to Washington.

I ran into a bunch more trying the same identical scam.

Matt Mullins and Dr. Joe
by: Anonymous

I am like everybody else, Badoo is scamsville. These 2 gentlemen contacted me back to back, First it was Matt, who told me he had not been with anyone since he found his wife and best friend making out in the "matrimonial bed" 6 years ago. I was supposely the first lady he contacted from the site. He said he was a project manager and a weight watchers ambassador. He showed me pictures of his transformation, which was really astonishing. He also claimed he was from UK and he and his 2 daughters visited Mulberry Fl, love it and he bought a home there. After a couple texts he asked that I contact him on facebook because he was deleting his badoo account. He suggested I get off badoo also because he wanted me all to himself.

A day after that he suggested we get off facebook and go to What app because he wanted our privacy protected. We texted frequently for a couple of days supposidely exchanging things about ourselves. I told him about my grandson and he started referring to him as his grandson and would ask how he was doing. He constantly sent pics of himself when I would ask so I do think they were of him. I also got him to make a call so I could hear his voice. He spoke such broken English I could not understand him. It made me very suspicious because his texts were much better to understand.

He had not asked me for anything yet so I kept going along. One day he brings up finances and I tell him I am more than capable of taking care of me but I needed him to be able to take care of himself as I could not afford to take care of him. He replied dont worry I have enough money to take care of both of us and then sends me a screen shot of a bank account statement with over a million dollars in it.

Now I know something is up but he still has not asked me for anything so I stay in. The next day he starts a conversation about how many credit cards I have and what kind they are as he is having problems with his bank account, so I tell him I have Amex, discover and visa. He says ok and nothing more was said about it. 2 days later he tells me he has to go to Izmir Turkey for a conference and to purchase some equipment for his weight watcher business he wanted to start. He says he will only be gone for 2 days. lol who goes to Turkey for 2 days. As soon as he gets there or 2 days later he starts asking me for my credit card. He claims the bank could not resolve his account problems and he needed my card so he could transfer money to it then I could take the money off and forward it to him. and what a joke and of course i would not play. Everyday for 2 weeks he would text with some kind of scam to get him money. We had arguments about it as I would not take the bait. Finally he told me he only bought a one way ticket and could not get the money to get back home and that he had visited a doctor while he was in Turkey and the govt would not let him leave until the $600 bill was paid.

He said he could probably pay the dr bill but would need me to get him a ticket back home. Ticket is $1200.00. I have frequent flyer miles and I offered to get him home using them but he refused stating he would feel ashamed doing that but could I instead sent the $600 for the dr bill. I refused and we have not texted since.

I wait a couple weeks and got back on Badoo Within 2 hours Joe send me a message. I respond and we started getting acquainted. He tells me he is a doctor and I ask what is his specialty and he says he is a retired doctor, lol so I ask medical and he says yes a doctor.

I immediately know I have another scammer. I tell him parts about what i just went through and stepped away for about an hour, when I returned the entire chat was gone and his profile no longer exists. As I was searching for Joe's profile guess whose picture I came across, none other than Matt, back on Badoo looking for his next victim.

I say to all serious daters, beware of these idiots and those like them. Use the site to get you amusement but dont get serious as this site and many others are mostly scams for profit. Matt and Dr.Joe are currently on the site so watch out.

By the way these are white guys who solicit black women. lololol

This one sent me a letter. Lovey Dovey. However, he said hello to some other woman while addresing. I knew this was a good one. His wife died of course. His son was being raised by his mother in Europe. He couldn't wait for us to be together. He had to go South Africa for business. Ready to come, but he was short a couple hundred dollars and the hotel took his passport. Told him no. He said his partner would reimburse me. When he gets back, I would pick him up at the airport and I would be the 1st person to see. He slipped up. The airport was about 1000 miles away. They all have a script from the same book. So i called him out on it and explained he got his line wrong and should practice more.

He had nothing to say.

>99% of the non-ugly "female" users are African scammers
by: Frustrated Badoo user

Out of the at least 200 chats or chat attempts, only 1 was in my city and was real. At least 99/100 of the others are scammers from Africa. They use pics of attractive or semi-attractive women (usually white). They immediately want to move to Hangouts or another app and give stupid reasons for wanting to do that.

Their English spelling, grammar, and syntax are horrendous. They start many sentences with "Am" (for example, "Am single. Am looking for a long term relationship").

They are all "god-fearing" and "honest". They hate "liars". If it weren't for that one real local person, Badoo would have been a complete waste of time. I wish they would FORCE revealing the true location of the user.

Wechat does that - very, very hard to spoof. Otherwise, Badoo will continue to be nearly 100% scammers.

He started talking to me through that saying he loved me after a few days and wanted me to be his wife. He said his wife and son had died in a car crash and he then started asking me for money. He sent some really nice pictures which didn't look real.

He then said his connection was going to run out and he didn't want to lose me and needed to talk to me day and night. I told him I wasn't sending money because I thought he was a scammer. He said I don't know what you mean and kept trying to butter me up. When he knew he wasn't getting any where he got nasty and asked me to send money through the westen union. I said no.

Failure to answer ?
by: Anonymous

All that is needed to weed out scammers is know what their profile location states, do a quick google map of distance between you and user/loser, and pose a ? Such as this(not using the city linked to profile but city approx. same distance but opposite direction).

"So the site says your in Orange Co., that’s not too far from me. How long have you been in the O.C.? If user responds quickly to error in location and corrects, there is a better than average chance he/she is Legit(so far). If user sidesteps the answer or doesn’t answer directly block him and move on.

These losers make their scratch by volume, so they are not going to focus on the little things as we can. Also for the guys out there, if you get the old "What are you on here for" question, immediately talk stuff about losers mother and inform him that it’s not cool to be living with mother when she is 65 (unless assisted living reason for squatting in basement for 47 years)

And the photos they are using are of Janessa Brazil, a pornographic actress from California.

Have a read of this drivel they been spinning me on gmail hangouts.

Scammer Alert...Victor Fellin
by: Anonymous

Look out for a Victor Fellin. fellinvictor14@gmail.com 385-404-4062.

He's an Italian widower working as a geologist at Tesoro. Lives in Beverly Hills. Smooth talker, copied letters off the Internet, had to go to China for business, sent love songs. Used stolen pictures, but I also had a feeling the guy in the pics may be in on it cause I saw him while we video chatted, but then I couldn't hear him. I caught on early so I didn't get taken for any money.

Scam the scammers
by: Anon.

Many "female" scammers on Badoo. Well, they purport to be female, but they could be male for all I know.

The MO goes like this. They usually have bought a Badoo superpower. When you reach out to them they reply with contact details outside Badoo, Gmail hangout is popular with them. It's the typical romance scam, and eventually they will get around to asking you for iTunes gift card codes.

Yeah right, if you hand out an iTunes code to somebody you don't know you deserve to be scammed.

James Holland
by: Anonymous

A man on badoo going by the name of James Holland. 43, widow, with a son, David Holland (son is in a Soccer School Boarding School in Liverpool) South African working/living in Texas, Houston as an Engineer. Lives with his mom. His dad and sister passed away long ago. I might be totally wrong, but I am sure he is a SCAMMER.

a) Who sends his child to boarding school right after his mom died. While you live in up in Texas with your mom?

b) He does not sound, nor type nor communicate like an educated Engineer/Person.

c) FB profile created the day we started talking. Apparently someone hacked his profile and he has not sent out new friend invites yet.

4) Forever kept on texting and was reluctant to video chat.

When he called though, I could hear he was an African man, and did not sound Caucasian at all.
-> Oh, he couldn't video chat because his phone is broken and he will get one next month.

Engineer who can't afford a phone, but can send his son to an elite school in Liverpool?? haha!!

5) I asked him for proof, that he is he. I asked him to write my name on a piece of white paper, take a selfie and sent it to me straight away, so did I.

He got annoyed and angry that I insult him. I told him, the proof is in the pudding. It pretty much ended there.

6) Oh yeah, he asked if I could buy him a phone then we can chat and OFF COURSE I AM GOING TO SEND YOU MONEY...not!

Genuine guys get scammed also
by: Anonymous

Not all guys are scammers, and must be unlucky if you think everyone you talk to is not genuine.

I work in IT and can tell the signs of deceit well.

But you are all right scammers are rife on Badoo, and yes the company is very shady when it charges you. Be very careful when accepting terms and conditions to not have their 1 click payments turned on otherwise you will make purchases without realising. I am sure they rely on this tactic.

Take care everyone

Badoo scamms
by: Anonymous kzn

Some men on badoo are not to be trusted. I started to chat with a man on badoo and we exchanged numbers and we sent each other messages and I became very fond of him. He vsited me to work and would constantly call me and brought lunch for me at work and take me home. He said he has bussiness until he introduced me to the blackmoney market and told me I have to give him sone money so he could buy a chemical to clean the money saying he is only introducing me because he could see that im working long hours and hd doesnt like it.

I didnt have the money and he kept on convincing me and he said I must go and apply for a loan so he could benefit from this together. He was so loving and caring at the time and kept on telling me he wants to spend the rest of his life with. I didnt apply for a loan as I lied and told him im not qualifying from them.

He started to ignore me and when I called he would hang up.

Nowhere is safe
by: Anonymous

I'm a Nigerian and I know what is happening in my country. We the innocent citizens are not safe either.... Scamming is everywhere here. Banks, telecommunication companies scams us in broad daylight and nobody will cough about it.

Sometimes your data will be stolen only to be used for a scam operation, so if something goes wrong you will go in for the crime you know nothing about. The government supports it with their body language. Imagine a minister of the federal republic asking Scammers to lend the government money. If the criminals that parade as law enforcement agents, after searching and harassing you only to find out that you're clean, they will taunt you by saying that "your mates are driving big big cars and you're trekking under the scorching sun with earmuffs.

So numerous to mention. Only God can help us.... But the truth is that "Nowhere is safe"

Ghana date site scammers
by: Anonymous

This is really getting out of control these date sites we pay to use to find local women to date and possibly a relationship.

I can’t even make this stuff on Instagram as I get messaged at least four to six times by all different women each day. They all say the states but are in Ghana taking care of mother or father !!

I started to wonder what the hell as they asked for gift cards or money for a surgery for a parent. They send all these pictures and yeah you are like wow!

I told a friend and she said that Ghana is the worst for date scams so I googled the area code they sent me to send money which I never did.

When I googled the zip code wow it was like flashing not to send moneys to these zip codes.
It took me to a site that has pictures that are stolen and used and within minutes i saw pictures that i was being sent by all these different women messaging me. So I sent each one the pictures and all the names they go under to each one and wow they still denied and asking why i don’t love them or so you are going to send money.

This sucks because I am really looking for a local woman but with all these date sites you pay for its all scammers and it is very disappointing that the sites allow this crap to go on!

Have investigated
by: Anonymous

I had a scammer "fall in love with me". I'm serious. He revealed his true identity on live video. Since then I've done extensive investigations; asked him to tell it all to me ( yes he had to trust me) but the more I could learn the better.

They can't be embarrassed AND IT IS NEVER THEIR PICTURES. They steal dozens of pictures from social media, you tube, newspapers etc and photo shop. I'm in the process of writing a book on how to quickly determine where an IP address is from, how they get free phone numbers from any country, how you can check photos to name just a few things. Forget romance scammer sites. AGAIN THEY ARE NEVER EVER USING THEIR PICTURES.

I'm passionate enough about these scams to want to help others. A common story is being a widower with a child. I may do a blog in time but the book will be soon. I'll just use the pen name Bella. Yes he still contacts me daily. Still claims undying love. Most are from poor and corrupt countries where work is scarce and social programs to feed or house do not exist. Most are NOT feeding terrorists but only themselves dinner.

And YES I was a victim.

Be vigilant... Look for clues... No good liars
by: Anonymous

Yes, people are asking for a new phone or would you help your man if he needed it, and get offended right away as if I have money to shell out like that.

Karl Bennet is a fake or stolen picture, too. He told me his name is James Pendleton. How stupid!! What's your real name. I didn't fall for it, and two different types of men. He went from blonde and blue eyes to dreamy brown and black hair. There are lots of them in Nigeria trying to scam us. It's not about love. They want to play the game of conniving people to set up a new bank account.

I'm a victim of identity theft a few years ago. All people need is your name and birthday. Don't post real birthdays on web sites. Be careful. I did see some people from my city on Badoo. Badoo said it's from soho, England. But I looked on Facebook for fake badoo users and found badoo seems to mean "bad boy" in Nigeria.

Don't press anything Nigerian because it started stealing my pictures and even said it was doing that, too. Be careful. I actually feel it's not from England, but actually from Nigeria. I actually don't like bad people. Rich men are being swindled and killed. People aren't reporting it from embarrassment.

Anyway, please be vigilant. It's really not good in my opinion. Lots of swindlers who will rob, beat up, rape or kill. Not good. Stupid liars. I kept saying no, and he kept saying Omg, lol.

Be vigilant.

Man from Zoosk also man who used Badoo scam also ties in with Facebook Scammers
by: Anonymous

I tried a dating site called Zoosk. Quickly got a message from a man saying he is Irish, living in New York. That he is an engineer and he begins to call me right away with an Irish Accent. His pictures of him and his daughter look legit and also of his deceased father.

He says he's grown very fond of me, even sends me flowers to my home with a gift and then tells me he has won a contract and is going out of the country to South Africa. He continues to call me several times a day and keep me posted and then he informs me that his carry-on bag was stolen while he napped at the layover flight to South Africa which had his laptop, iphone, credit cards and important work related things.

After arriving in Cape Town, he send me a text message telling me that he needs for me to please help him by buying him a Mac Pro laptop, Iphone 6 and have them FedExed to an address he will give me and that he will fully reimburse me when he returns to the states.

I tell him that I don't have the means, money or way to do this and he refuses to drop it by trying to say things that would normally make a person feel guilty. I ask him to drop it, nothing will change and I won't be sending him anything. That he can do his job by finding other resources available to him there.

His attitude seeminly changes to one of a harsh one, cold and somewhat callous and although I am not for sure he is scamming me, I feel that he more than likely is.

I ran tracers on emails originally sent to me and viewed the code and saw where the original email sent to me was also sent to badoo.com

I fear there is a possibility I'm not the only one having this done to them.

Yes they are on Facebook, Badoo, Zoosk, tagged, and they are everywhere. They write beautiful messages, they send you beautiful songs, they profess their luv in a short time, and they say things to you to make you feel good about yourself.

They give you photos that look good, they want you to send sexy photos, and they are becoming highly educated.

Put a photo of them in Google images and you will be surprised what you find as I was. They have many identities, so download a program called Detect invisible users - it works great, as it shows you when they are online even if their status is invisible as they are chatting to their next victim.

I know I used all these, and I caught him out, so I suggest you do the same, so don't go there if these signs that I have written about are there because they are scammers.

Also they say they are from your country, they work as engineers on oil rigs, or they work in the mines.

I played the game and its made me aware who are scammers, plus they promise you the world and they say lets listen to the music together my luv of my life while they are scamming someone else.

It happened to me,so take note of what I have written.
