His name on WWF is John Williams who started a nice chat and requested we move on to Hangouts so we can chat easier and share pictures. Tells me he lived in Ohio before moving to the UK and is an Engineer. He was married and lost his wife three years ago and has a daughter. He is always complimenting me then starts with how much he loves me and we are soul mates and will be together one day. Requests I send his daughter a surprise two dollars internet gift card and she would be really be happy.


Goes to tell me he won a huge contract in Turkey but when he gets there he is short on money and would I please send him four thousand dollars. Wanted it Fedex in cash to an address in NY.

No I didn't send him any money but ladies beware, he has different accounts but the ones I saw all use same name but different numbers at the one is 145john another is 67879.

Wow JEFF WELCH on SCARS romance Scams Now March 2019...that looks like Larry Howard from FRANKSOCIAL who approached me end of September 2023 as an Independent Contractor for EXXon Mobile working in the Gulf /coast by Cancun Petroleum Engineer who does dangerous work scuba diving & sent me a video of ship inside work area & ID which I do not know how to reverse image...I commented earlier today as I stumbled on this site & I never have had or was looking for this especially thru FRANKSOCIAL - VERY BIZARRE!!! PLEASE LOOK FOR THE EARLIER COMMENTS. BEWARE!!!

Reached out thru FRANKSOCIAL and said he was originally Italian from Milan & his parents moved away during high school because their families didn't get along to Minnesota. He had been married 30 years, wife died 6 yrs ago from cancer, son died 8 yrs ago from a car accident (sent a pic of him & son) & daughter Celestina 13 yrs was in boarding school in MN (sent a pic of them together).

He was going to retire due to his daughter at the end of the year. His wife told him not to live without a woman/life was too short/he was searching/had been burned by a woman from WY.

After a year and 1/2 after his wife dies & they had been living together. I thought that odd since he had professed he was a Christian? Said he was attached to me.

I was always in his thoughts. I am not retired & am busy & was not looking for this; especially on FRANKSOCIAL.

I disappointed him not able to keep up with his meeting times on Google chats (I hate Google). I kept asking him where the history was going & told him he kept appearing & disappearing on my FRANKSOCIAL FOLLOWERS & he never answered why he didn't have an introduction on his page???

We did exchange just a few pics on Goggle chat; but he didn't answer my questions & I REFUSED TO SPEAK ABOUT FINANCIALS...THAT WAS THE END OF IT.

I reported him & another guy who reached out, but not as aggressive thru FRANKSOCIAL of all places. I have his ID, but do not know how to reverse image its search. I have never gone on a dating app: this is WEIRD!!!

Curiously all new contact requests in LinkedIn stopped when I had reported this Scammer, with 2 different profiles, same photo (how stupid can one be...) anyway, working at oilrigs seems to be quite a common thing, and being a widower with a daughter, or a granddaughter.

I might be in those scammer´s black list now :) :)

I did assume it was a real photo of some poor guy out there. I’ve looked up other photos and found the real guy before. If the name on WWF and now starting on SongPop as well doesn’t match the name on the photo I found, I know I have found yet another scammer.

I have found if I won’t meet them on another site, they lose interest. It is amazing how many soul mates I have out there and how many of them work on oil rigs. Also how many of them have lost a wife and child in a car accident!

I have definitely become cynical!

I am a little confused since there are 4 pics. Does it include all 4 pics? I have doubts about a guy using that third photo. He says he is Richard K. from Paris living in Texas working in the Gulf of Mexico for Exxon. Says he is divorced. Wants to meet on another app.

I said no, I don’t share personal info so he asked for my phone number. Duh, that is personal info! I get a ton of these requests - I guess I look lonely but I reverse search all of them if a photo is available!

He is also going by the name of David Benoit on Facebook, and I only just figured out how to do a reverse image check and this helped me.

He sent me a friend request on Facebook and then started on hangouts. I was picking up a few red flags.

The same photo as here was used in 2 different profiles in LinkedIn - Richard Dixon and Jeffery Welch. I later reported and blocked them. One profile is in Facebook with the name of Jeffery Welch as well. One photo is used in Twitter with name of a Norwegian Hakon Asbjörn.

So I ran into this man on WWF as Steven Romeo. He was very into True Love. Says he grew up in Texas but now lives in Miami, FL. Currently working in Saudi Arabia for Bahri Shipping Company. Has a daughter who just turned 13yrs old and is in boarding school in the UK. Wife died 7 yrs ago in a gas station accident and parents died when he was young.

I talked to him for a few weeks before calling him out. He of course denied it. One can never be to careful.

I was victimized on behalf of John Barnes. I was scammed first on Facebook, then on Google Hangouts. This fake profile sent nice messages. He wanted 1500 $ from me. I saved the hangouts messages and pictures and sent to the Federal Bureaus of Investigation:

I met this scammer on Tinder, and his name is
MichaelRey. He said, he lives now in Aberdeen, Scotland, but originates from Houston/Texas. He wanted me instantly to open an Google Hangout account.

I dont know what for, I refused it and deleted him.
He is very strange.

This idiot sent me a message with this pic saying how he is a god fearing widowed man etc and sounded like he was trying to get flirty. Hahah I said, why are you messaging me, we are not friends and if you are trying to flirt, i am not interested.

He continue to send flower pics and messages till I blocked him all took place over 2 days. He is Darrick J. Herman and Derrick Sampson Herman so far as I have found on facebook. As soon as this freak messaged me the first time, I went to the profile and deduced within seconds this was a false scamming profile.

I have so far reported both profiles that I found about half an hour ago. I am sure this will do no good because I am sure this creep has a bunch of profiles. I have no interest in any relationships and am supremely happy on my own.

I absolutely hate it when some creep comes out of the woodwork and tries this kind of thing on. errrrrr
