Romance scam

Hello, beware. He goes under the name of Michael Woods, claims he is Italian/ German, has an accent, lives in the US. Is pretty ordinary at English on his emails but a real romantic. He is working in Dubai, widowed, has 2 kids, the 17 year old son lives with him in the US, changed his name to Michael Woods, claims it was easier to 'fit in'.


He is a Gemologist who is stringing my friend along. She doesn't believe it. He has been messaging her for 3 months, found him on POF dating site. Never face to face or facetime chatting and has never asked her for cash until now. He is flying over to see her but he was meant to be with her 2 weeks ago.

A Gemologist asking for a good sum of money? I will post a pic so anyone who knows who this person is in the pic that he sent her or has had similar contact please add your comment.

To all the ladies out there, Beware, this scammer fake profile image above (stolen obviously) of the supposed Michael Woods has been caught out. Unfortunately he did get some funds from a person. He has been reported and the website you need to AVOID is https://www.diamondtrustlogistics.com/

It's a pretend site they say have for Gold shipment. It looks Professional but it's a scam! All documents/ Certificates sent to a person have been looked at by Border Patrol and are fake! You get certificates but only if you provide the details they want and $17,000.00 au to get the gold sent to you.

They even give you a fake tracking number! This scammer went right off when he was caught. Unbelievable.

They use the same story on all victims. So glad one has been found out!

Not on Instagram, he was off a dating Site POF I Believe. He then went on Hangouts or Whats app.

No I believe this Michael Woods was on POF Dating site. He moved on to Hangouts or Whats App once he lured the victim.
