Michael Miles | Oil Rig Scam img1

Hi All, Name: Michael Miles, Age: 52 (profile originally said 60). Height: 5'11. Occupation: Engineer. Works: Oil Rigs, currently off coast of Canada. On a big contract it took him 5 year to bid for. Job is to drill crude oil + installation of pipelines.

Lives: When not on oil rigs, Perth (moved there when was working on rigs off west coast of Australia). Willing to relocate for me.

Back story: widowed 5 years, wife died of cancer, 15 year old daughter in boarding school, Italian, Italian name: Rodriguez(!)Mother gave him name, Michael. Met: Tinder, conversation continued on google hangout.

Sweet talked, that I the woman for him, I look like an Angel, a Queen. Talked a lot to loving god, still very interested when I said I dont believe in god but ethics, which surprised me given how strongly he seemed to feel about wanting a woman who loves god as much as he did.

Very well spoken, only a few grammatical & spelling errors. Didn't seem to understand some basic idioms which I had to explain.

Seemingly loving & devoted. Says will be back in Perth in 2 weeks & will be coming over to the east of Australia to see me.

Will keep you posted. Excuse should be interesting.

Clarkson Bryant

Story is that Clarkson is working on a rig in Norway. Widowed, 2 sons in boarding school. Later said grandsons and his son had died. Worked with the UN. Needed me to send $5000 for his vacation leave, which the company would reimburse.

Off the bat started telling me he loved me and wanted to spend rest of his life with me. Got bogus messages from the UN. Bogus pictures I found on line.

He finally realized he wouldn't get any money. Blocked me from Google chat. Told me he couldn't waste time with someone who didn't love him.

Same BS. Not very good at this!

Loves long walks and cleaning out the elderly.
by: Anonymous

This guy (gang of guys) is just gross! They are absolutely decimating an elderly lady I know to the point of literal homelessness and no one can do anything about it because she totally believes they are in a committed relationship. She even started missing bill payments because of this abusive schmuck, and from what I know all of her pension now goes to this guy.

She relies on soup kitchens and staying with friends to get by. They're using this guys images but pasting Paul Holliwood's face on, along with photo shopped images used in the Derrick Garrison scam (Omusi Marvelous) but in those pics they added in fall leaves and an Italian villa. So this oil rig consultant though a millionaire is in constant need of money because he cant access his million dollar Italian bank account from the rig, or any areas located outside of his Italian villa.

He has a daughter in boarding school who just never seems to get any older even though this dear lady has known this fraudster for 4 or 5 years now? He calls or texts from 1-501 8** 8214 a spoofed number from Arkansas and his email addy for hangouts is milesdrilingcompany9191@G****.com (note drilling spelled wrong)

He constantly promises he's coming to sweep her off her feet and (Honey) (Babe girl) (Queen) he loves her so much, he is trying his darnedest to get to her, and bring her a million (Doller) check to make up for all the money shes sending to him via steam cards. (Hello, Steam cards are for purchasing online video games, you cant cash them in for real money unless you resell the card numbers, no real person in desperate need of immediate money would ever ask for steam cards, only those who resell them on the black market.)

So steam cards are sent but oh no, he suddenly has to leave the country and get back home to Italy because his work visa's now expired (Since when do you need a work visa to merely visit someone in North America? A passport will always do.) There is always an excuse as to why he cant make it, he's not too far away now but oh no something else came up, a car accident perhaps?

Maybe if she sends him 50 no make it 100, but tomorrow send 500, and he'll finally arrive? Frustratingly sad. Please say a prayer for this woman.

BLACK GUY SAME STORY
by: Anonymous

This guy DM me on Instagram then we moved over to Hangouts. This guy sent me this exact same picture with a black handsome face though. Connected the 1st of October 2021 and he says wife died 4 years ago with a 15 year old daughter that’s in boarding school.

So here we are just 2 days before Christmas he got injured on the job in Ireland on the ocean working in the oil industry so he asks me for $5,000 because of his injuries and he needs to be moved to a better hospital with proper equipment. So I was stunned 1st of all a man of age would ask a beautiful woman as myself for money.

What Real man does that when he told me his contract was worth 2.5 million. So I signed up with social media catfish and input this image and this is what came up, this dude with same story, same picture but White and working in a different country. THIS HAS GOT TO BE SAME GUY or a Team of Scammers

He is a "supposed" cousin of the scammer that I was talking to but I think that this is also my scammer
by: Anonymous

I am glad that I ran across this page because it looks like a "supposed" cousin of the scammer that I dealt with but I have a suspicion that it is actually my scammer. He told me that he believes in god and that his wife passed away from an accident that she got into on her way to work as a nurse.

He wrote me on Skype and told me that he lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He is on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico and has a fifteen year old daughter. He told me that once he is off of the oil rig he will marry me. He is still trying to get in touch with me by telling me he loves me blah blah blah but I just ignore him. He also promised me that he will pay me back in interest once he sees me.

He told me that I should set him up with a friend of mine and that all four of us will double date when my scammer is with me. He told me that he lives in the state of Michigan.

by: Anonymous

This gentleman goes by other names. He said his wife died 7 years ago and his daughter is in a boarding school in Chicago Alandrea and is 17 years old. He said that he is on an oil rig out in the Mediterranean. And tried to get $19,450 off of me because he said that was to get him out of his contract for Leave/Retirement that they paid him upfront already.

And he also tried to get me to get him I-Phone Gift cards so he can get internet on the ocean. This is all a bunch of BS so ladies do not fall for love this way. Meet the man in person. This guy says that he has a house in San Jose CA and Germany. Says he is an only child and both of his parents died. He followed me on IG under the name of Clinton Kohl Wade.

So I met him on Facebook Dating and his name is Scott. He owns a company which is the name you all reported. Said he lives in Malibu and has an 18 year old daughter in boarding school. You would think if he was a good scammer he should change his story. Glad I checked online before wasting my time on him.

So disappointed that men like him fake pictures and profiles when all we want is to find love.

I said he's too young for me but he knows better and sent me his hot picture walking in the ocean. Says he's a widower and has one daughter who is in boarding school in Savannah, GA. This guy is persistent and slick so watch out

BEWARE this guy is a total crook and starts out with flowery speech, wife died daughter in Spain and currently lives in Brooklyn. Complimentary how I am his queen, his wife, and talks about god.

Brief calls. To show it’s him says he got robbed by pirates and needs repairs done and can I lend him money that he will pay back but just can’t access funds as he needs a fingerprint to access.

Got nasty when I confronted him on this site

I received the same Sob story about being a Widow, just wanting my time, Son in another country studying, has no one to help him through his loneliness and depression since his wife died... blah, blah, blah.

He plays on the Christian concept!!!

He is using a new pic now, just of an older distinguished man in a car.

When I stopped responding to him, he laid the pitiful "he so sad" that he didn't hear from me, story on rather Thick.

Everything that everyone else has said about this person, I have received also from him. I even asked if he could face-time or even call to hear his voice, because I was suspicious from day one, and that's when he would "REMIND" me that he is on an Oil Rig.

These scandals... people really think we are stupid enough to fall for it. Especially, in this day and time, when we are constantly hearing about the "Dark web"!

Greetings from New York. I just started talking to this person via Instagram in late December 2018. He came across as somewhat humble in the very beginning. Gave me the same spin on his wife that passed away from lung cancer and having a 15 year old daughter.

I actually felt really bad about his "experience." I am a Christian woman so naturally I immediately had a soft spot for someone who would divulge such personal information to a total stranger in such a short period of time.

Then it got weird. He asked if I lived alone, marital status, do I cook, do I do house chores, do I own my home, etc. I use the term, "weird" only because a conversation usually has a flow to it. The series of conversations, via Instagram, and through subsequently through Google hangouts, was all over the place.

Just today I was talking to my best friend about him and she suggested that I "Google" him while I was on the phone with her. I did and here I am. If it weren't for this site, and the brave souls that shared their stories, I would never have known.

I want to say, "Thank You" for exposing this creep.

Be safe and be blessed!

Two first names possibly. Works on a rig away from home. Widowed or divorced. Correspondence is flowery. You are correct to be very suspicious on this guy. I suspect that he will start asking for money sometime soon...and you are correct to expect the excuses for not visiting.
