The previously submitted story for Marcus M Markou was written based on incorrect information as I have learned first hand since this was originally posted. Please disregard the previous original posting, as this person is not a scammer and has been verified as a legitimate oil rig engineer.


Marcus M Markou deserves to be vindicated for this erroneous posting. My sincerest of apologies to him and all that have read that posting.

I researched Your "Marcus M Markou" and was wondering why you are now saying he is not a scammer. If he is not asking for money and you have not met him then he could be a catfisher. I found a Marcus Markou that is a British Filmmaker.

I found the man/horse photo under the name of Rufus Gifford on Instagram/Pinterest. The Nigerians are real good at making you believe them. I met the Nigerian behind the name Jaysen Binney. The man was not 61, he was 36. He told me a lot of things once I cornered him. I video’d with him and talked live conversation.

I still believe by the original post you did that the man was not a millionaire on a rig. Good luck.
