Yep... I was scammed.

Meet Ronald Kurt a civil engineer working in Sudan. The area was a war zone. And I met him on OKC. We developed a virtual reality relationship. He would call me every day at the same time or leave texts and email me love letters confessing his undying love for me.

We spoke every day. And yes, I gave into his sob story and gave him money.

I cursed and accused him of being a scammer. I told him the gig is up and I blocked him on Whatsapp, SMS, email. I came to terms I would never hear from him and chalked it up to lesson learned and not expect reimbursement.

Then 2 months later he texted me on FB. He kept saying he loves me so so so much. He can't live without me. I've affected him so much. If he didn't love me, would he be here talking to me. I thought, he must really like me if he wants to come back to me, especially the way I cursed at him.

So I fell back into believing he was real. A week later, he asked for money. So I blocked him on FB. He calls me on an unknown number which I never answer. And since he's in Nigeria, I know I'm in no real danger.

May karma pay them back in return whether they are or are not scammers. What do you think?

I was so naive!
by: Anonymous

The thought of meeting a scammer online never even registered in my head that this was all possible.

I went back on OKC and I saw him back online. I reported it to OKC and FB. And they really didn't care.

Needless to say, this is a hard lesson to learn.

Thank you!

Why give money to anyone who states they are an Engineer. They should already have money and do not need your funds to survive. Talk to people in your local area where you can go out on real dates an meet real people.

Do not, do not, do not send anybody your 💰
