Nigerian dating scammers

by Anonymous

I recently sent 500.00 dollars to my Nigerian dating scam date person. Silverstre David so he says and he said he was a widower and that his daughter was severely hurt.

The conversation was great and I had doubts but I let friends convince me that I need to start letting people in and let go of my wall.

That 500.00 is all that I had until the end of the month, and was food and laundry money because he was so believable. I found him on single parents.com and gentlebutgood my >>>.

It terrible to have these feelings, and I always seem to get taken advantage of, but I have learned my lesson and no one else will ever get in.

I am afraid of what might happen next. Was that a one time thing or do they continue to email you and maybe show up at your house????

Lost and confused

He called me on my cell phone, talked to him last year. The story is Tracy died, he inherited property in Mississippi, had bills to pay, asked me for $500. I said, I need to go.

Didn't send any money

Blaming friends

Nice way to try and blame your friends. They told you to let go because you obviously use every excuse in the book to avoid "real" relationships.

They are not on the internet.

Your excuse NOW of never letting someone else in is convenient also as you wouldn't have the courage to do so in person anyway.
Get smart or get help.

It is terrible to know these scammers are criminals on the loose. You should report this person to the site's administrators and of course, block him.

Once they suspect that you are onto them, they vanish and also erase their profile off the site you met them. I have never heard of my three scammers (yes three times, but only once did I fall for the lies and lost $200.00 that I sent to a friend who told me he was assaulted in Peru).

Anyway, the only way to comfront this situation is to share your experiences with other people and prevent friends becoming the next victim of these criminals.

Hi. Sorry to hear about your loss. Take him off your chat list and block him if he tries to chat with you.

He will eventually get bored and will leave you alone. I have had that experience and did the above and they left me alone.

If you are going to continue on a dating website do research and most dating websites offer what to do and what not to do.

NEVER SEND ANYONE MONEY! NO MATTER HOW BAD THEY MAKE THE SITUATION LOOK! These people (scamers) are not looking for love. All they want is to fill their pockets with your money.

There are many redflags and behavioural patterns of scammers. Read under SCAMS BlOG to the left of this page.
