I was approached by a sorry creature by the name of Martins John who said he had a daughter in Virginia and was working in Dubai as he worked for a subsidiary of YouTube. He has sent me numerous "love poems" and told me a sad soap story about a friend of his in Nigeria that had fallen on hard times.

He got upset when I questioned his intentions. He has proposed marriage and said he was getting ready to come see me. My children think I am crazy but when he encouraged me to send money to his friend in Nigeria, finally saw the light.

Ladies, don't fall prey to others like this animal!

Yup he messaged me as well. Had some line about being from Belgium originally that was why his grammar was poor.

I thought it quite hilarious all his BS. So
please ladies when they look too good to be true they are.

I met a John Martin on POF yesterday. He sent me a email detailing about his life, no kids but wife died. He moved to Quebec. He works in construction throughout Canada and the US and abroad. Quite the story and screams BS. I emailed him back to tell him I found someone else but am reporting it here so others beware. johnmartin3313@gmail.com is the email he is using.

I am at my wits end, as its been 2 weeks, and he is supposed to live only 2 hrs from me, and conveniently 2 days before we were to meet he had to go to the US for an interview for a big construction job, and is still there apparently, i think buying time because he knows he is supposed to return back to where I live close by and we are to meet, this week.

Knows I have no money as I told him upfront off work, getting back next week, medical field, good money, but have none to give. He always told me he was not after me for money, but tonight this weird thing about Itune cards, I couldn't understand what he meant, so I repeated "Are you asking me to obtain, to buy itune cards for you" and he said Yes, as he cannot use US itune cards on his computer and it has to be Canadian due to the APP he has on his computer.

Now i'm not that stupid. I said etransfer the money, find out what you want google exactly what price of card you need, then he gets back to me $200, and if I had 200 dollars I'd frame it right now, then he wanted me to forget all about it.

I said it's no problem if you just etransfer me the money I will give you an itune card serial numbers etc for you to use.

WOW first big red flag, plus I recorded his voice on speaker phone, and my son says "Mom he is not from Europe, he is Nigerian".

I even phoned a private investigator for advice and so this week apparently I will get to meet him face to face, so waiting for next excuse then that's it.

IThis is very difficult for me as I fell in love and was expecting Martins to visit in about a week! I just read similar stories on this site. I now realize that none of his words had any truth to them.

I hope he goes to prison for a long long time!!! I encourage you to report him. Maybe we could have a Conference call with Martins and his harem! We have all been targeted by the same creep!

Good luck to all of us in recovering fron his evil spell he cast upon us! I can't talk
anymore, but will send my whole story on this post when I get over the shock of what he did to me.

The last thing he asked me to do was to send him a letter telling him how much I loved him so he could show it to his priest and lhave a
Mass of consecration done for me'!

He's not even worth the postage to mail a letter. Thanks for Listening! Also from Houston, TX. Where he wanted to come and build me a house!!!

I was scammed recently by the same man - so sorry it happened to you too. It is the exact same story - it's like he has a script or something. Martins even asked me to receive a wire for him- he said it was from someone in his company, and then I was supposed to wire the money back to him. I completely fell in love with him and was planning for him to visit me.

What a cruel individual.
