John Bradley Aldo

(Maine)

Met on POF. Wanted to communicate via text. No email. Off the site. I never figured out how he knew my first name. He said he was from Egypt and Italy and moved to the states seven years ago after his wife died. He said he has a daughter in college in England. He does not have any web presence other than Facebook which he did not tell me about but I found.

The same picture was there but the data was inconsistent. He said he was independent and had his own local building company but was in the process of filing papers for it.

Talked about leaving the dating site after two days.

Was always asking if I was talking to other men.
Did not ask me the usual questions when you are meet someone online and thinking about getting together for coffee. He presented himself as a Christian man and made a good guess about what church I went to and said that he went there too. But to a different service.

I caught on to all of this pretty quick. Even though I knew it was a scam it still doesn't feel good.

I shut him down pretty quick.

Scammer
by: Anonymous

He's been telling me he's a Christian, builder, in Cuba for a bid on a job, says I'm the one. Right!! Yep, that's a scammer. Says he's a widow, but then he says she was an ex before she died.

Inconsistent.
