Claims to be from Norway, posted in South African in a contract building a bridge that's already been built according to my research. Widow, with daughter whom is 20+. Wife died of cancer, mom passed.

I found the family whose identity he has stolen. However the individual on the picture is also a victim whom he has over 1000+ photos of.

Please someone say something if you know this man in the photos. My mom is deeply affected by this scam artist.

I met him on Tinder. Claims he lives in Calgary, Alberta. Moved here 9 months ago from The Netherlands. Widow with a 20 year old daughter going to university in Holland. The pictures on his profile, along with other pictures and videos he sent me, are all of an innocent victim who was CEO for a large modelling agency.

His email currently being used is Stefan.williamsen@gmail.com

His phone Number is 587-887-6028.

He claims to be working in Lanarca, Cyprus as an architect on a mall. Gets mugged, ID stolen. Gets arrested for not paying hotel bill due to stolen credit card. That's when I searched for his photos on google images. Only one photo came back with a match.

Then I looked at that persons Instagram, and saw every photo and video he sent me. He's very good, charming, well spoken with a European (sounded Dutch to me) accent.

This scammer is still on the loose. There are no oil rigs off the South African Coast. There is an operational gas field at Mossel Bay and drilling explorations are been carried out, but let me reiterate, ladies there are NO OIL RIGS!!

Oh dear, their bank accounts have been frozen because their wallet was stolen on the rig. Cellphones always fall in the water and they need a new one, they need money to pay for the helicopter ride back to land, hotel, airfare and taxi money. Ask them for a copy of their passport and they become so indignant about how you don't trust them. The workers are becoming agitated as they cannot pay them and they fear for their lives. They become ill as they have no food to eat and can't pay for electricity to keep them warm and ask for money to pay for medical bills. Medical services at government hospitals are free. There are soup kitchens, charity organisations and churches that can help feed these poor starving people, just until their millions get paid. They invariably live in the wealthy suburbs of Cape Town. Surely, they can approach their embassies for assistance? Big BS stories!!

Don't get sucked in by all the lies of these bottom feeders.

Asking to transfer money

This guy is claiming his bank won't allow him to transfer money because he is in South Africa. He's giving a bank account that doesn't belong to him and asking to transfer from one account to another.

When you make the attempt, you will be locked out of the bank and eventually the Police will track your computer and come talk to you. You just tried to hack into someone's bank account.

Beware ladies. Don't be this idiots next victim.

All of you ladies should be aware, theses people work in groups to convince you to send them money. They are scamming many men and women at a time. This is unfortunely how some people in South Africa and certain parts of the continent such as nigeria make their living, by preying on vulnerable older women in the internet.

Any information they provide you as proof is fake. They will never admit when confronted because they will deny until they die, literally. It's all great to want a fairy tale and all but seriously, let's be realistic here, get him on a FaceTime, Skype or anything. And most importantly don't send money to someone you've never met.

That's just plain stupid. Despite how perfect their English may sound over the phone or in writings; if he is working in Africa on any project, issues occur during his contract, they need money to complete the contract and come see you,RED FLAG.

Anything you send is being used to earn more cash from the next victim so just please stop all of you. Who ever it may be don't send anyone you've never ever laid your eyes.

He has switched names to Fredrik David Beattie. He is claiming to be an oil tycoon from Norway living in Connecticut. Currently in South Africa on a huge oil contract that he was just awarded. He is also going by the name of Fredrik, and using the email fredrik.d5051@gmail.com. I've been talking with him for over 2 months. Claiming to be in S Africa building an oil pipeline. He hasn't asked me for any money as of yet. But has sent me many pictures, writes amazing poetry, and very sweet emails.

He is really good at what he does! He is now going by the name of Gregory Beattie. He is using the phone number 754-200-0202 and saying that he lives in Parkland Estates in Tampa, Florida.

He is using the email gregbeatie@mail.com.

He says he has a 14 year old daughter. He didn't show up in any records in Tampa that I searched. Thank God my girlfriend finally found him on the internet as Ian Gregory Beattie. I was online with him since November 5th. I kept him going for a few days after my girlfriend found out he was a scammer but after hearing there was nothing that could be done to him I confronted him.

He is really good at what he does and I think he is somewhat psychotic. Even though he was confronted with his fraudulent activity, he adamantly reiterated that he "was" Greg Beattie and continued trying to convince me of it.

Am also one of his Victims. I have over 20 photos from this Ian. Sweet Talker, good manners, well written poems (love poems). I realized something was wrong when he told me of issues at his bridge job site in CapeTown Africa.

Then started asking me for money to help pay his hotel bill & pay for phone spots that he needed for work. I told him I have no money. My answer to him was No and that's when he started
Demanding Money from me.

Thank god I saw into him. Now I see with my eyes
that he is a professional Scammer! OMG be careful ladies.

He's part of a big ring of scammer and just the other day asked me for $6,000 to bail him out of jail saying he owes taxes to the S A CapeTown for his work.

He's very good looking and a smooth talker. Be Careful ladies. Says his wife passed 8 Yrs ago and has a 21 yr Old daughter named Helena. She must be part of the ring. I have spoken with her just as he said he was going to Africa.

Claims he lives in Connecticut.
