I work here... any real questions?

by Ky Vega

I see so many people angry with all the young aspiring sales people who would rather show you a product in the honesty of your own home than let people be lied to by the cutscene, bluescreen, greenscreen lies that we see on television.

Don't hate a good product, maybe the individual salesperson, but not the Kirby or the whole company because of an experience with one person or one person's office... all Kirby offices are a subdivision...

Kirby is a scam

if Kirby's were worth anywhere near the price they try and scam people into paying for them, they would just be available on the shelf at Walmart.

Using your name to scam, Rob and rip off older people.

Need to change your business model. Got 2 in my mom's house right now and they know it will not be bought and have been asked nicely to leave once.

Far to many ppl have been scammed by this "product". To many break-ins occur after these salesman demo thier products.

Do they sell used equipment and tell you it's new?
by: Anonymous

We just had a demo for 4 hours. He said it wont take much of our time. My husband asked can these guys do a demo, they said it won't take long. Honestly I was impressed by the demo. We did pay full price but we're quoted they were originally 3,000.00 so we were getting a military price being active duty.

Then realized it wasn't. I am not fond of the lying part. Mostly I'm upset about the fact the Kirby that was demonstrated was in a old used up Kirby box torn in corners and the equipment they gave us is used from previous shows he said. He literally said it was from the neighbors before us but he lied because the equipment we had paid for was filthy and dry in the recepticle .

We had not noticed that part until he had already left. When I asked for shampoo for the carpets, which was initially told they were doing and never did he said all he had was one this, and it was a empty pop bottle filled a 1/4 of the way with sudsy water. I asked him for a distributors bottle and he said he didn't have it.

He was really trying to race out of the house and I asked him if we have everything he looked and shuffled all the pieces in the gathered box and said yup. As he ran out of the house his reasoning he had to catch up with his boss.

I immediately checked to see if all the equipment was there from the instruction Manuel that tells what comes with it and we were lacking pieces. We honestly felt like we had purchased old equipment with parts missing and then coming on here showed us not only that we payed almost 3,000.00 when we though we got the military discount, and people on here bought one for less than 1,000.00!

The most infuriating thing is we didn't get all the parts that go with it. Are all the Kirby sold USED? I guess that is my real question. He laughed when i said can I have a new one with a new box? He told me that is not how it works, with a chuckle.

Salespeople are human too
by: Anonymous

If the salesperson comes to your door and you are not sure simply ask the rep at the door for their business phone number and business name and who they work for, and then call and check.

I'm a kirby repesenative and I love my door to door career! Its a tough way to make a living but if it was easy, everyone would do it! Please dont treat every salesperson like a criminal, if you feel uncomfortable say no! If you dont want to buy a kirby tell the rep I dont want it!

If you give us a reason to help you get a kirby, we will do everything to help you get one! Thank you for at least looking at our product.

Kirby is not a scam
by: Anonymous

I find it really funny that you ask him if he got a real job but the fact is I have been in kirby for over 20 years and Kirby has been around 100 years.

We are not out to scam the customer as we show them a product that lasts and gets the job done. If you want to talk about vacuums that are scams you should look at the ones consumers buy in the department store

I have question
by: Anonymous

You are speaking from the ignorant position that all the THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of complaints against Kirby are about ONE particular dealer.

Honey, these complaints online go back as far as about 25 years! They span across the globe, in every country Kirby is sold in. So, my question to you would be: are you still lying to people, trying to sell a vacuum OR did you finally go back to school and get some viable job skills and obtain genuine employment?

Let's hope it's the latter.
