I had a room with a really dirty carpet (bad dog!) and the guy came in and cleaned it. Yeah, he gave me a hard sales pitch, but I said no.
And yeah, he was here for, like, 3 hours, but hey, I work from home and got work done while he cleaned my carpet. It wasn't a hassle for me and I don't have a problem telling people no, and the carpet was so clean that I gave him a big tip.
I say good deal if you have the time, patience and won't be bullied into a sale.
