Herbalife forced me into bankruptcy

I started with Herbalife 4/2010 as a supervisor. I lost in excess of $20,000 and was forced into personal bankruptcy in August 2010. I would like to join in a class action suit.

life changing opportunity called Herbalife could be for worse
by: Anonymous

After receiving one of those SMS about a great income opportunity I attended one of those seminars and decided to enrol myself as a distributor.

My upline was making almost mega bucks per year and well a rosy picture was painted.

Of course there was tremendous pressure to become a supervisor which I eventually became within a fortnight.

To enrol more people in my network I was told to go for these SMS,fliers and if necessary newspaper ads.

All this was done and even after 4 months only two distributors were inducted.

To make the products move I was told I need to contact friends, relatives and go for a shake party. Not wishing to strain my relations with my close people I did not contact them. Sunday meetings were attended with regularity yielding very little results.

Actually what is taking place here is the same people are bombarded with SMS. On learning that the company is herbalife the line invariably gets disconnected.

In other words Herbalife in all the meetings which they conduct with tremendous fanfare and with an aura of glitz is to fool the people.

The last speaker enters the stage and amidst cheers and whistles from their network friends keeps signing autographs that will put a hollywood celebrity to shame.

This Guest speaker shouts from the roof tops that this is a life changing opportunity and they all must join.

To see the positive side there are people who have made a lot of money. The products have apparently proved beneficial to many. This is however only the tip of the iceberg.

There are lots of people who have given up the chase within a month or so which prompts them to appoint distributors on a daily basis.
