Found George Dillen on a dating app. Goes to South Africa for business. Then tells you he got robbed and asks for money. Looks legit. Shows many pictures. Uses multiple phone numbers and a website georgedillenstones.com Even sends spoken messages sometimes.

Still curious who this scammer is

I have been approached by a man named George Dillen in 2019. I know it’s a couple of years ago, but never too late to inform people. We got connected by Tinder. It first started nice. He told me about himself and that he lived in Assen (Netherlands). But we couldn’t meet, because he was going on a business trip to South Africa.

He was a trader in gemstones. Same story: robbed in South Africa during his business trip (pictures from him in the hospital and his so-called wounds and bandages). And his bank account at Citibank was frozen in connection with the robbery. He asked me to send money to him to help him out. I suspected that he tried to scam me, but didn’t stop the conversation. I tried to keep him in suspense to find out more about him. Thank god I didn't send any money.

He had a business website, sent me a lot of pictures (of himself, his house in the USA, his horses and dogs, his cowboy friends and business people he was trading with). We also talked on the phone a couple of times, I have no recordings of that unfortunately.

Further I have: an e-mail address, several phone-numbers he used, our WhatsApp conversation (stored it), and several reports from other Dutch women whom he has tried to put a scam on. One of those women also sent me pictures of him and they were exactly the same as the ones he sent to me.

He has put his scam on a lot of women. I still want to find out who this guy is and what can be done to stop him. I am in no doubt that he is still scamming and abusing women in whatever way, maybe under another name

I recently reported him at IC3.gov.FBI.

Hopefully something can be done...

Same story as everyone else, Tinder only in Hungary. Lives in rural and all of sudden South African trip, robbery, injury etc.

Why can't someone stop him??

He used the name Harry with me. Found him on Tinder. I have been chatting with him for two weeks. I am from Norway and asked him if he wanted to go for a walk, he said he only lived 25 min from me, but suddenly he had to go to South Africa to collect stones. He sent me many pictures and called me darling and dear. I really believed him and he looks so good as well :-(

He has another name msg_adam moyer on Instagram

He used another name in Instagram. Its user name is msg adam Moyer and he calls himself as a usa officer army. I remember him at the name of George last 2 years ago. He contacted me on Instagram. We talk on text. The day after I told him that I know him by the name of George, he denied it. He has a Facebook too and used that name Adam moyer. I reported him at the USA army. That's against the law what he is doing using a authority on the national security us army. Its criminal.

Yes he is still active and he just tells the same story over and over again and he tried to threaten me after I told him that I would go to the police and that he’s a gold digger. He told me that when I do this he will find people where I know they come from him when it is to late.

He told me he’s from Zurich so please be careful!!! He stole only my time and a little pics of my heart. He also told me that he is coming to me for a vacation with confirmed tickets from KLM and emails etc. He really did his homework!
