I met this guy with the User Name FlyingDodo2018 (used 58 and 59 years old) on an interracial dating site. Also uses FredHead599. I'm sure he is really a Nigerian Scammer. Was very sincere and didn't ask for anything for a few weeks while on the site.

I fell in love with his photos first. EXACTLY what I was looking for. After a few weeks, asked to go offline to e-mail. I was hesitant, but he SEEMED sincere. I ran the photos through Google image search and no matches came back. I Googled the heck out of him but could not find him anywhere.

Yet he said he lived in England, Thailand, Malaysia, etc,. so I kind of thought that may be why. Said he was a widow of 5 years, both parents deceased (Dad was British, Mom was Thai).

Claimed to only have his father's sister and his best friend (both living in Malaysia). Supposedly 410 miles off of Galveston, TX in the Gulf of Mexico. He and 15 team members and a total of 80 people on the oil rig.

Well, long story short, he was wildly romantic, attentive, sent me songs to listen to, wrote me long, expressive e-mails, always concerned for my welfare and that of my family. He was to "retire" after this last contract and to receive millions. Said that he sold his house in England to buy equipment for this last contract. Now getting in the last of the equipment so that he could finish this project, retire and join me this Fall (to start a new life, lol), now was WAY MORE MONEY THAN HE EXPECTED.

Cried about how depressed and sunk he was
feeling and how could he get himself into this mess. Then he tells me that his Aunt and Best Friend each have come up with a third of the money. He asked me to come up with the last third, about $56,000.

HA! Even if I had it, why would I send it to someone who I haven't shared the same air with? I wouldn't even loan that kind of money to my mother, lest alone someone I wasn't 100 percent about. The choppy English was always a give away. C'mon, a mechanical engineer educated in England who couldn't write proper English? Ha! Had the nerve to get mad with me when I cried poor.

I'm sure that this is a Nigerian Scammer. I am sure that he will change his name or modus operandi. I am sure he is doing it right now.

I will admit this, I am so sorry he wasn't real. I knew deep down that he wasn't. I really fell in love with the photos of the guy he sent me. Part of me hopes that the real guy in the photos is available (and my type) and out there on some real dating site. I am attaching the photos to make you aware, plus if anyone know the real identity of the adorable guy in the photos, PLEASE reply.

TRUE LOVE ASKS FOR NOTHING. NO MATTER IF THEY ARE ON AN OIL RIG OR IF THEY LIVE IN YOUR HOME. THEY CAN'T SCAM US IF WE MEET PEOPLE WITH OUR MINDS FIRST INSTEAD OF OUR HEARTS. GIVE NO ONE NOTHING BUT YOUR HIGH STANDARDS. HAVE LOYALTY TO YOURSELF FIRST.

BEWARE OF NEEDY PEOPLE ANYWHERE IN YOUR LIFE.
