He contacted me, very complimentary and smooth talker. Says he just relocated from NPB CA. Claims to own offshore oil drilling company. When I searched the company the only online presence was the company's website, which my anti-virus would not let me open.

I did an online background check on him and his phone # and neither have any records. I am so happy I found this, so I know what I suspected before getting very far in.

This man also goes by the name of David Stefano or D'Stefano profile and pretends to be an engineer and owns an Offshore Drilling Rig in Newport Beach. Ph number he uses 949-424-7895 or 949-877-1665 davidstef009@gmail.com or http://info@dstefanodc.com

Ladies dont let him fool you. He will tell you things you want to hear then soon will ask for money, laptop, iphone, and airpods. Will try to have you open an account for bitcoin. Will try to have you open an bank account under your name.

Will ask for your email to try and get any personal info you may have.

DONT DO IT! You will regret it. If you have not met the man yet DO NOT send anything to him. Guaranteed he will be a scammer just out to take your money. He has some guy by the name of Samuel Ritcihe that collects the money or items he wants.

LADIES DONT BE FOOLED!! Hoping someone will reach out to this man if he is not the scammer. He could also be the actual scammer. All info he tells you about him are lies.

He was on Zoosk.com and tried to scam me for $62,000 but it didnt work so then he tried to scam me for $1900 but that didnt work either. Also tried to have me open an account under my name, but that didnt work.

He did scam me for a laptop, iphone and airpod almost $5000. Watch out for him. He will video chat with you but he is still a scammer. Very smart so never ever give him what he wants.

Pretends to be an engineer for Offshore drilling company.

He also goes by the name David Stefano or D'Stefano. I sure hope he gets caught and put in jail.

Yes Davidson Leonardo is a scammer & has no oil drilling company in Huntington Beach. He contacted me & thinks he’s good, but isn’t that good. So Ladies if you are not wise enough to recognize anyone who wants money, laptops, gift cards are scammers you shouldn’t be on these dating sites.

He is definitely not British and his accent will tell you that. His demeanor changes 100% to an irate person when questioned or challenged on who he really is. For the person who questioned if the comments on this site are legitimate are you serious I mean really this is a good forum to flush these scum bags out. Scammers are too busy scamming to post on these sites.

Figure it out if one scammer could get 200 people to send them $20.00 how much is that? It goes on & on and they don’t stop.

The Davidson Leonardo that I spoke to clearly had a British accent. With comments I've seen from other victims, it might be more than 1 scam artist posing as Davidson Leonardo! I feel sorry if the photos we have seen are of a innocent victim.

I hope that someone stops his illegal activities. I did research on him in the beginning and this is the first time I found that he is a scam artist. Be weary of guys who want to meet you after a few days of talking. He will be vanishing soon and changing name, story etc.!

Alert Ladies. Yep! this con artist is very good. He weaves a good story and has "valid" photos, cell phone, voice mail and email address. He covers all of his tracks. First clue though, phone line connection is always fuzzy. Very hard to hear him. He says he is an Oxford grad, but doesn't have a British accent. Rather, it sounds like something from a different continent - difficult to understand.

When I accused him of being a "catfish" he sounded genuinely hurt and contrite. I got sucked in. After a few more interactions, I became suspicious again. Found this.

Confirmed! He is a scammer, con artist and criminal.

Don't fall for him.
