Hello ladies, Have any of you been asked for laptops, phones, Ipad? So the story goes Davidson is a widower. His wife died five years ago. He owns an offshore drilling company and left his wallet in the airport. He needs the electronics sent to him so that he can hurry home. He will repay me when he gets home. Does any of this sound familiar?

Scammer Dave Leonardo
by: Anonymous

Scammer Davidson Leonardo has changed his name to Dave Leonardo on his LinkedIn account. After his scamming scheme was reported on watchforscams.com, anyone googles Davidson Leonardo would find out he is a scammer.

So now he continues his scamming using Dave Leonardo. He gave me the same story, left bags at airport, no devices, no cards. He asked me to send him a Macbook, iPad and iPhone.

At this time if you google Dave Leonardo you will find his LinkedIn account showing him as a CEO for a fake offshore oil drilling company.

The loser scammed me for a Mac pro computer and iPad and asked me to send it to him in South Africa. A total of $4000.00 and he said when he finished the contract he will come home and he will pay you.

He will rot and burn in hell. His phone # 949-342-8666 and he claimed DOB: 12-13-1960 and his email: daveleo2700@gmail.co

This is the same guy who tried to scam me last spring. Very smooth and charming and seemed highly intelligent and well versed. He was bidding on an exclusive 18 million dollar contract on an oil rig in South Africa.

For someone who is very smart he claimed to leave his luggage in the airport and blah blah needed a MacBook iPad and new phone lol.

This scammer claimed to have a son and daughter who lived in London England who are in their 20s. On his Instagram account he had pictures of them.

Since a ring of Nigerian people were arrested in California a few days ago, maybe he was among
them! He no longer answers his phone, emails, Skype etc. Scammers are getting rich off innocent people.

This man looks like the same man that scammed me but he went by another name. I have a question for the people who have had contact with him does he have a daughter?

All I can say is this man is a scammer so if you have given him any money don't expect it back .

He just tried to scam me as well. Have been talking for weeks. Always thought something was off. He vehemently denies the accusations on this site but had the nerve to ask me to get him an iPhone since he forgot his at home and now was getting on the oil rig in South Africa.

Davidson Leonardo claims to be raised in England, born in Italy. He has a British accent, very well spoken. When asked detailed questions, his tone changed. Pictures he sent are of the same person on Davidson Leonardo's Instagram, LinkedIn accounts and Skype video.

I'm told that people are able to dub videos on Skype, but use their voice so you think it's them! The scammer needs to get a legitimate and honest job instead of taking advantage of compassionate women. I will always wonder if the photo is the scammer or a victim of identity theft!

Yes, this is the same story I got as well. Met on Match had several fake profiles. Has Instagram,
and LinkedIn accounts to appear legitimate.

Reported to appropriate authorities. Lots of photos he has shared. He had gone all out for his elaborate scam. Very convincing, but stories don't add up I'd you pay attention to the details.

Sounds like bull residue to me

This seems to be the latest thing. Oil rig workers. Many people are reporting that they are being asked for money and electronics.

Do not send them anything. It is definitely a scam.
