This is the guy who tried to scam me, exactly the same story I am reading from the rest of you but I am in Portugal and he supposedly is on a rig off Italy. We kept fighting as I really did not trust him from the start. We had nothing at all in common. He went from love bombing, romantic tunes, to being overly religious. We had a conversation about why I did not believe in god.

Used the same story about nearly drowning off Turkey in a rig accident. He is 64, his wife died 3 years ago from lung cancer. He is alone, no family, lonely etc.,

He sent me pictures of his rig, of his room there, of the contract for the work being done, with his name on it. He sent me pictures of his home in Frankfurt, He had had an Alsation dog called Jake. He wanted to take me on holiday, buy a house and live together by the sea, in a city.
Then there was a capsize so everyone evacuated, he needed me to accept delivery of his briefcase with all his important documents in it, to hold on until he finished his contract, as he was coming to marry me - not as far as I was concerned - when I told him I needed his ID in order to receive the package here, there was always an excuse.

Then I got a contact from John Gedd who supposedly had collected this package and would be forwarding it on but I had to pay €750 tax and VAT first. When I told Walter he said I should pay it and he would pay me back, when I refused he got nasty. When I told him I would report him as a scammer he suggested I include the FBI and Interpol and I was a lunatic and a scammer myself.

Then he told me he could get me fired from where I am. As I do not work for anyone this was interesting.

When I tried to get him blocked on Facebook I went through their instructions then noticed the address line box had a totally different name https://www.facebook.com/mdbokul.ahmed.7796
