I matched with this guy on Tinder. He was a really good looking guy and we hit it off great. He sent me photos, I sent him photos and we liked each other and I was convinced I had finally found my match. We even talked about marriage! He said he was working for UNICEF in a city not far from me in Utah.

After talking with him for about a week, he tells me he has to go to New York. Then from there he has been sent out to the field in Nigeria to help with a Monkey Pox epidemic with children. For the whole time I was talking with him he would message me in the morning to tell me "good morning my love.".

I was genuinely worried about him being over there in a "war zone" per se. This morning he tells me he went to the ATM to get some money out for food and that his card had expired and the bank wouldn't help him to get his money so he asks me to send him money and he would pay it back when he got back from his "mission".

BIG RED FLAG!

A fiend of mine did a reverse image search on him and found out that the photos he had been sending me were actually of a VLog Comedian celebrity named Adam Ray.

OMG what a fool I am.

I fell in love with this guy and it wasn't even him!

Can you post the picture of James? I was scammed by a guy named James who later confessed and said how sorry he was and he told me his name was Alexander and he was in Nigeria.

Tinder a dating site wasteland

I wrote a piece on this site about tinder. Its the home of cat fishers from ghana, nigeria and Benin.

100% of all men i met on tinder are cat fishers and I know them and their game all too well. They will break you down psychologically get women needy abd dependent on their empty words. I looked the comedians image...red flag. And their accents are very indigenous to Nigeria.

Im so glad you had a friend to help YOU. I never lost any money but just played their game with my deck of card's

I've had a few come clean and send photos and give me there real names.

Then they play the reverse scam and now that they came clean you owe them. All are men in there early 30's. Kelvin, Samuel, Fred and Chris David jr the most notorious out there are tinder cat fishers.

Be safe always and know if its too good to be true maybe it is.

This is what they do. I don’t believe a word they say. I have actually blocked So many of them. There are a lot on Ourtime,love and seek, match and others. They like to save you as their favorite in hopes you will message them. Hell no, I refuse to message any of them.

The men are too good looking to be true. Not saying I am nothing to look at. I have been told many of times I look like Demi Moore. I am so tired of the BS with these scum bags. I feel if I can keep them at arms length and help the women who are vulnerable and lonely from getting hurt.

Please stay away.

You will definitely start to realize what they are trying to do. I will not go on tinder or hangouts. I do not friend anyone in Facebook. My settings are set to not accept anyone I do not know.

Thanks for good friends that know how to do reverse images and to know this guy was scamming. Start with small amounts then they increase. You were saved so beware of the same game with any guy overseas.

You could get caught up in money laundering, lose your job, your home and bank fraud so do not send anybody money.

If they ask for your 💰 for any reason block and delete them.

I'm sorry you had to go through this. I know it hurts. I am glad that you found out sooner rather than later. Always check their photos on a reverse imagine App especially if they have an accent or refuses to video chat.
