Founded in 1992, Market America is a product brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing.

It claims to have more than 3 million preferred customers and 180,000 distributors and UnFranchise Business Owners worldwide.

It is headquartered in Greensboro, NC, and has over 500 people globally with international operations in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

To qualify for organizational compensation, the member must first purchase products totaling 200 to 600 BV [BV is approximately 80% of each dollar spent]. This translates to product valued at $350 to $1,000.

Retention of the qualified position and compensation by the member requires a monthly purchase [or "Transfer Buy"] of 50 to 150 BV [$62.50 to $187.50], depending on the member's position within the compensation plan.

Then you build your two lines of recruited members, or legs. Along with the growth of recruits in the member's organization comes residual income. When both right and left legs produce 1200 BV, there is an earning of $300 to begin a cycle. This pattern continues for 2400 BV and 3600 BV as well, earning $300 per milestone. At 5000 BV per leg the earning is $600.

As in other network marketing companies, you are encouraged to buy products and begin recruiting from within your "warm market" which typically includes your family and friends.

Each Independent UnFranchise Owner, equipped with his or her own Web Portal, operates a One-to-One Marketing business designed to develop retail profits and an ongoing residual income.
