Thomas John - psychic to the stars

by norm hopkins
(chicago)

Thomas John Flanagan is his real name. He dropped the Flanagan to hide a bit better. He was arrested in Chicago 2009 for internet scams.

These involved Craigslist, taking the money but not having the goods or services. Phony autographs, apartments that did not exist, etc.

When this hit the press, it was revealed that he was also a drag queen, performing under the name Lady Vera Parker. Google any of this if you like.

He apparently paid his fine and disappeared for a couple of years. Now he has a new and more lucrative scam going as a psychic.

SCAM THOMAS JOHN
by: Anonymous

Forget about where he gets his information from or if his readings are real or not. Beyond all that Thomas John is a scam artist who takes money from people and then never actually gives them what they paid for.

He has multiple complaints on the BBB site from people that have paid Thomas money but never received a reading. He has a scheme of waiting until the reading is due and then prior to the reading says he has to reschedule. He does this repeatedly.

I wish there was a way the authorities could shut him down just like a common thief. I pray that karma ultimately catches up with Thomas John pseudo psychic.

Scammer
by: Invisible

I've learned a lot about Thomas John online since I paid for a phone reading, that's never happened. I get scheduled. Only to have it can celled last minute, or the call just never comes after hours of waiting. I just read here the another person who paid for services never received theirs, either. She thinks it's because she doesn't have a FB acct and not much other info on her is available online. Yes! That's me, too. The man (TJ) is nothing more than a scam artist. Oh. And thief. Oh. And greedy. Oh. And dishonorable. I could keep going. But this person has wasted enough of my time. And money. Errrr.

He;s the real deal
by: Maggie

I have been to numerous psychics in my life and no one has ever hit the mark like Thomas. I am not on social media and the things he knew he could never ever from reading something somewhere. He knew things I've never told or spoken of. I am as big a skeptic as they come. I believe 100% plus this man is real. I know he is.

I have seen the light!
by: Anonymous

I have been reading about Thomas John today and I have found out a lot. It is now obvious to me, that Thomas John is a fake. I have done many of his online courses and he never picked me for a reading. Also, I was suppose to have a phone reading and he never called. That is because I don't have very much information on Facebook or anywhere else. He couldn't find anything on me. It now makes sense.

Thanks to everyone on this page to help me see what kind of person John Thomas really is. I was going to purchase a few of his online courses but now I never will again.

I went to a large group reading. He picked me. I would have been a believer had he stopped half way through. In the end I felt the information he had came straight from the obituaries for my son and father in law. I felt very violated.

Shut down your Facebook page before reading!
by: Anonymous

I had a 8 person spirit circle in NYC. All the time he kept his eyes squinted and kept putting his hand to his head and ear, it seemed odd. Everything he told me was right off my FB page right down to what was in my photos.

At first I was like this man is incredible but when I got home I saw that my FB was not as private as it used to be due to FB changes. I gave him a so-so rating and he immediately emailed, not once but several times asking me what we should do about this?

I apologized and said I would not say anything negative again. He was paranoid about my review! He is not a true medium.

Scam
by: Anonymous

Hi Laurie, I am curious to know what he told you during the reading. Did he use information from your social medial or did he make up stuff about your future?

Same thing for me about the reading questions. I had to write again and again to get him answering my questions. His predictions were all absurd and of course they never fulfilled. The only thing that was right was what he had found about me online.

I am so surprised that he still has people believe in him or writing raving reviews. Those people think that the information he delivers during a reading is evidential mediumship while it is just the data he is collecting from the internet.

How can we be so gullible in mistaking fraud for psychic accuracy?

Regarding your calendar, do you know anybody else who got it? Do you know what's in there? I suspect that he just made 4 or 5 versions of his calendar and that someone caught him. If he really did scam people this way, he may be prosecuted and pay huge penalties.

Thomas John STILL Scamming!
by: Laurie

Thomas John is still scamming. I purchased a "Psychic calendar" for 2018 back in November 10, 2017, promised to be delivered by December 31, 2017 at the latest. It is now almost April 1, 2018, and I still don’t have my calendar!

All five times that I have inquired on it, I’m told he is "working on them", "he’s very busy". So he has my $95, which I have asked for a refund several times, only to be told he’s working on them. I just want my money back.

In addition to this, I had purchased email questions, and I also had to repeatedly ask for that commitment to be fulfilled. Eventually it was.

I also had purchased a telephone reading, that was pushed off several times, including 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time. After 10 minutes of complaining, because I had taken the day off to have this reading, he ended up calling me and giving me a reading, which was far from being worth the wait.

DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO HANDING HIM YOYR MONEY!

You will never get what you paid for.

Medium Thomas John scam + fake
by: Anonymous

I confirm all the negative comments here. I had a direct experience of his fraud: during his mediumship events, Thomas John is using info that he finds on social media and internet in general (online obituaries, intelius, etc.) Same thing when he does a reading over the phone or email questions.

I would like to answer the person who said that they gave a fake name and that Thomas John did a great reading: it is not enough to give a fake name. With the right phone number, you can easily find someone.

Real psychics and mediums are honest. Even if they can research people, they refrain from it. They get their information through psychic channels or divinatory tools only.

Since Thomas John has no psychic abilities and is dishonest, he can only pretend to be a medium. What he does is criminal: abusing, lying and manipulating grieving people. I wish everybody knew. Wish also that some courageous and rich people sue him.

After I have been abused by this man, I felt ashamed. I believe it is the case for all kinds of abuse. I realize that it should be him who should feel bad. But it is very likely that he is heartless (even though he looks like a nice and sweet guy at first glance).

So beware, search and draw your own conclusions.

PHONY MEDIUM - PSYCHIC
by: Anonymous

I have been to many mediums & psychics, but HE IS A CON ARTIST A PHONY. This past Friday evening I went to a event he was holding in CA. I was his first reading for about 100 plus attending. He got EVERYTHING right, names, about photos, about my son & parents. Well I paid with a credit card & my full name, EVERYTHING HE SAID TO ME WAS ON MY FACEBOOK PAGE.

Everything on THE DETAILS WAS to the point. I was skeptical AFTER THE READING. I WENT home and researched & yelped & goggled. He has done this to many others and scammed them with readings.

He researches everyone who will be there. How dare him play on people who are grieving with their emotions.

DO NOT SEE HIM OR PAY HIM.

Thomas John has a gift
by: Anonymous

People will always find a way to trash a psychic. Who cares if he used to be a drag queen? He posted a huge blow on his website about the story, he's obviously not hiding it.

Everyone makes mistakes. He has dealt with this.
I'm a spiritually open minded person, but I do not really believe in most mediums and psychics.

However, Thomas has told me things about my father who died 35 years ago that nobody would ever know. He's very on target and accurate. I even paid for a friend to go, gave a fake name, and stuff came through for him that was beyond.

Group reading

I had a group reading last. I think he is a total scam. All the things he said to us were all things we had on our facebook pages. I checked and all our accounts are public. The people have got nothing from the reading are the people who have no facebook or who's accounts are private.

Checkered Past Or Not, Thomas Has A Gift
by: Courtney

Thomas may have had a criminal past as revealed in this article. But this in no way affects his talents. I will admit that he has more gifts as a medium than a psychic as he has predicted inaccurate things for my Life.

In addition, when I was cyberbullied he, inexplicably, couldn't see through the motives of the woman who did it, which I found strange for a psychic.

But he does speak to those who have passed on and has been a great help to me in dealing with the grief of losing my Mom. I was sorry to see this article about his past today as it will cast doubts on his abilities. But I have seen him do some amazing things and be a real help to those grieving loved ones..

He's a con man going way back
by: Anonymous

It amazes me that anyone falls for his "predictions" which are so vague and numerous that any objective reading makes it clear he can't predict so much as what time it will be in the next five minutes.

I've had my own interactions with him and can only advise, run the other way.

How dare you accuse someone of this!
by: Nancy Price

Thomas John is not Thomas Flanagan the drag queen from Chicago. How dare you post a horrible thing about someone you have never met and attempt to ruin someone's career. I am a client of Thomas John (psychic) and I have done lots of research to determine if this is true or not true, and it is NOT true.

I would love to meet "Norm Hopkins".

Unlike you, I am putting my REAL name on the post, and will stand by what I say.
