Soldier wana be on facebook.

(US)

I was on a site called Baddoo just to me some people to talk to about ethics and try to get a feel of different countries around the world nothing more. I came across what I believed was a US soldier with that lived in Texas on the site. I asked could he talk. I asked would it be a problem due to the time difference we use Facebook messenger.

He said no problem. He called himself James Olchefske. Well due to I had been scammed before I do like to be protective of myself. I went looking and I put his name in facebook after he said he had an account and found about two. But when I placed his last name in I found his picture with another name called Nick Olchefske both at the same job.

Well we talked off and on for a good month. When I start to thinking about moving and looking for a job out of state he offered his home and told me that he wanted me to come to Texas and give it a try. But he wanted for me to wait for him to come home first. Well I did not think nothing of it due to him claim to be a soldier and all.

Well I get a message from a little girl. Asking me some questions about did I like her and her daddy. Who can say no or say something wrong to a child? Well about this time his sister goes into the hospital and he wants to go on leave and they will not let him go without paying. I like a fool pay.

Then within 3 days of paying he is in a so called wreck cropping pictures. His reason for this is because he doesn't want his daughter to know the truth. Ok I tell myself. How bad can it get????

I have put out over $4000 now. And dear old Sgt James is not home yet. But I have numbers to Nigeria and fake number that he is using from a computer and if you like the agents that like to have their money to they are on facebook also.

I think it is sick of them using fake stories of sick children to get money and make threats to people, children and companies in the US just to get what they want.

by: Anonymous

About 4 months ago I started talking to this guy on POF lol. He claimed to be a lonley us soldier and said his name was steven and he had a daughter and wife was dead, cancer I think.

When I asked about the poor English he said he was half German. I went along for laughs then after a few months he wants money ok .... starts with all this stuff so I explain my ex husband is arriving in the military and all what he is saying is total B.S lol.

He goes on and on and on and then asks if he can put some money into my bank! Naturally I said no!

He went on about processing! After months of doing my head in I sent him some money !!!

Foolish I know!!!!when I hit the 4 grand mark I wised up ! These are pop star wages to an Nigerian lol !!!! Lol

Anyway no money came back then one day asked if he could put 4 grand in my bank and I forward it on .... of course I said no problem ... needless to say I didn’t forward the money! He threatened all sorts and so he pops up every now and again lol.

I call him mr Nigeria and he hates it lol but hey at least I got my money back lol xx

Feel sorry for the actual bloke who’s photo they stole and without being harsh he is not all that great but hey people do stupid things and see the world through rise tinted glasses when it comes to looking for love 😉

A very active scammer
by: Anonymous

Currently my ex-wife is being conned.
Unfortunately she won/t listen to anybody and is determined to carry on. She doesn't really have any money so I think he'll lose interest really quickly.

Plus if reported his fake accounts to Facebook but who knows when they'll take them down.

Family of victims
by: Anonymous

Hello, I am a family member of the original Nick Olchefske and his wife. They recently told me about this because his wife, who is alive and well, was being harassed by women who paid these scam artists. This harrasment lead to her deleting her own Facebook.

The real Olchefske's are aware of about 40 fake Facebook profiles that all use Nick's pictures as the profile. He believes his computer was hacked when he was deployed in Afghanistan. If you come across these profiles we ask you please report them both to Facebook and to your local FBI department.

Nick has filed a complaint with the U.S Army, his local police agency and the FBI to make sure these scams come to an end. Please be aware that you are not the only victims in this matter.

The Olchefske family lives in fear that someone has stolen their life from them.

I know him well
by: Anonymous

The alias he used for me was Bobbie Ryan and he is married, he does have a daughter but she lives with her grandmother, who I have contacted and informed of all the scamming. I found his real Nick Olchefske profile and he's right now pretending that he's unconscious after injuries he sustained trying to get to the bank to replace his bank card that he lost in a road side bomb in October!!

I believe that he is actually Nick and suffering from mental health issues because who would use his child and personal injury to steal money from someone with nothing! He told me he wanted to marry me and move to California when he was done deployment in December!!

All lies, lies, lies and more lies. I have reported over 37 Facebook profiles for false representation and I am currently working on a report to the US Army.

Also the person who he said was his comrade and the person who's information he gave for money transfers is actually a young Nigerian youth!!! This man has Badoo, Kik, MySpace, Facebook, Tinder and multiple others online accounts to lure women in, so BEWARE he is an extremely charming and romantic liar.

RE:Asking for help for his sick daughter
by: Anonymous

Yes he will keep on and keep on until he get what he wants out of you. It is bad when you have to block him and he only makes more Facebook pages to scam more women. Take it from me you are not and may not be the only woman he has told this story to.

One time he told me his daughter was in the hospital due to her could not come home to her. Me feel sorry for the child and not believe that people would scam some in this way. I sent money for him to come home to his daughter. It been one lie after another.

Still no James and still no money returned. His daughter is not real and if she is he should be ashamed of himself for using his daughter in his little game to scam money out of people.

Update on the Soldier Wana be on Facebookscam
by: Anonymous

It funny how his lies get bigger. And he adds more people to help him scam women out of this money. What gets me is, the lie has turned into someone has hacked his phone and private account where he can't come home and then his sister has died and his ex wife has taken his daughter away from him.

But to top all this his ex wife is so bad to his daughter as he says and claims that his ex wife took his daughter to Europe. Doesn't sound like a bad parent to me.

Right now he is claimed to need about $1700 and is trying to get about $300 of it out of me. I feel sorry for the woman that sent the money to Nigeria to this fool. He is just going to keep asking for more money. He will keep asking and promise to pay it back but never will.

Asking for help for his sick daughter
by: geneva

He has been relentlessly messaging me to the point where I had to tell him to back off or get deleted.

He died down for a week or so and is literally Facebook messaging me RIGHT NOW asking for "help for his sick daughter" because "he can't do anything where he is at?

My scam sense started tingling so I googled his name and BAM. Here we are.
