Now you've got me wondering...

I was contacted by this guy, Marcus Patal Gustav on Zoosk.com last week. The whole familiar story that I am reading on here, he's an oil rig contractor that has his own crew. Texting daily, feeding the same BS that I'm reading here - widower, wife died of lung cancer - very lonely. Daughter, 18 goes to college in Phoenix to be a nurse.

We were going to meet in person on Saturday, and when I questioned time/place to meet - he had to fly out to Phoenix to go see her (He was in New Hampshire), then supposedly when he got to the airport, she called him and told him not to bother going out as she had to deal with DACA issues.

They've been in the US since 2001, originally from Sweden. His daughter was 2 year old when they came here. So we texted Saturday evening. Asked if we could meet on Sunday, and he said sure. Then when texting Sunday AM, he told me he was in meetings all day with his crew as they were leaving for a new contract on Tuesday. Asked to meet Sunday evening when he was done with his meetings, claims he was too tired. Asked to meet for coffee Monday evening when I got out of work and he had too much to do to get ready to leave for his trip...said he'd only be gone 4 weeks rather than the normal 6 weeks.

Keeps assuring me when he returns we'll spend time together. Keeps telling me how much I am just what he is looking for in a best friend, soul mate, lover, etc. etc. I did speak with him on the phone and he had a very heavy accent.

Just texted him asking him to send me a picture of him with his crew on the rig. Let's see if he sends it. My guard is up now! Glad I came across this blog!

I was just contacted on POF by Christine,

Hi, You look like a total sweetheart,I hope your day was good? I was online today, about closing my pof account since i already got a life partner when My colleague Fallon came visiting and he liked your profile (smile) and all you wrote. He has been alone for a while now. He has fully recovered from the loss and actively seeking a companion,I want you to put a smile on his face by emailing him on: ( fallongalvin555@gmail.com ), Christine.

A scam.

Fallon is a Fraud
by: Anonymous

My story with fallongalvin555 is similar, only I was approached by a "local " person on POF. He asked me to email this Fallon, and put a smile on his face. He said Fallon has met with him and showed him my profile and was all excited, the first person since his tragedy. I had no idea at the time. Declared I wouldn’t be sorry at all.

So I sent an email, and in the reply all the information about this man was the same story as told on this site. I panicked at first, because I looked up the email address and saw these stories regarding this exact email address. I couldn’t block, as he’d sent me one so fast. I had to see if it was corroborated info.

I thought maybe he’d send a virus on my phone (safer than my computer, but still) then it dawned on me he may have been banned by dating sites and his cohort was trolling on his behalf.

The friend is Steve, and said he’d found his soulmate and was closing his account, but he’s on the site all the time in his Dodger uniform, saying he’s in Huntington Beach. They’re working in a group.

Watch out!

My Mom is being scammed
by: Anonymous

My Mom met a man on Zoosk going by the name Fallon Galvin, who says he is a Engineer from Canada and is working a contract job in Africa. She has been talking to him since before Christmas, and first he was coming by Valentines Day, and then at the end of March, and now things keep happening at his job to delay him.

He Says that he is a widow with 2 grown children. Say's he doesn't know how to video chat. I cant' find his picture anywhere and have had no luck finding anyone with that name.

I think my Mom has sent him money but I am not sure.

fallongalvin555@gmail.com

Now she is being contacted by a guy from the UK that is a Oil rig engineer, geesh. These people make me sick taking advantage of someone who doesn't have money to spare.

SCAMMER
by: Anonymous

Mine finally sent a picture of his with his guys but it looks like it is photo shopped like the one of them standing by the rail on the oil rig is. Everyone sends that one of themselves when you ask them for a picture usually.

He isn't real, he is a scammer and just wants your money like he did mine.

He got me real good
by: Anonymous

I got took for 23000 by a oil rig scammer. He was a smooth talker and used loving words to woo me. He said he had a break down and his promises are not real.

I wish I would have known before this as I now have to pay back LOANS THAT WERE TAEN OUT IN HIS CAUSE.

He took money from all accounts.

He really played me.
