Nigerian Dating Scammer

Goes by the name Williams Declan Smith, he found me on Facebook, extra handsome, loving demeanor. He started telling me he loved me a month after we met, swore he didn't have any family or friends, said wife died from dementia, said he was retiring from the Army, ask me to pay for flight home and said he was on peacekeeping mission (Africom) in Africa.

Said he couldn't get his money from his paychecks, ask me for money, phone, computer, and miscellaneous items. I sent him $50, we talked for 6 months before I broke it off. He wouldn't stop asking for money and other items even though I told him I didn't have any money. He demanded we talk away from Facebook.

He started getting confused about what he was saying to me during our conversations, I started catching him in lies. We talked on Hangouts where one day a known scammers name appeared out of nowhere, but he didn't have an explanation, and when I questioned him, he started cursing me and broke up with me for a week. Thats been a month ago, and I've been trying to get rid of him ever since.

He keeps texting, and calling me on my phone, and hes still asking for money.

I am surprised you sent someone money that you have never met. But hind-sight is always 20/20. I'm glad you seen that it was a scam artist and refuse to send him anything!

If he keeps harassing you just tell him you will be notifying law enforcement about it if he continues to contact you. If that doesn't work, start asking HIM for money! lol

Good luck to you. It is a good thing that you realized the truth.

SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THESE SCAM ARTISTS SO NOBODY ELSE GETS SUCKERED!
