Nigeria dating scam

Anyone know about Bryne Otis? He says he's originally from Norway working for the Exxon Mobil company in Idaho as a staff contractor. He's in Nigeria now on assignment and has repeatedly asked me for money claiming that he cannot use his bank cards there.


I haven't given him any money but he is persistent. He also claims he wants to meet me in a few weeks once this assignment is done.

Dear anonymous. That’s the same story he told me. I’ve been talking to him for nearly two years and he’s had more drama than anyone I know. He’s a parasite and a Crook. I wish you could tell me more.

He is a scammer. He told me his wife passed away and he worked as a contractor for Exxon. All lies. After a while his "daughter" got involved and really played with my emotions. Said her aunt died and her father was sick. I sent money for medical needs because i felt so bad for him. I tried several times to video chat him and we never had luck. He never sent pictures and never came to visit.

When I tried to visit him he made up excuses why I could not. Eventually I told him I could not send anymore money without meeting him first. That’s when he stopped texting and calling. I guess he moved on to his next victim.
