My scammer

by Mona handler
(Seattle WA. USA)

Met on OK Cupid. Within a few weeks he fell madly in love with me. He sent me a picture of a very handsome man. He left the Seattle area to work in the Gulf of Mexico on an oil rig.

Within one month he began asking for money for his foster children in Italy. He of course was "widowed" with no living family. He claimed to be a millionaire but couldnt access his money because he was of shore.

I foolishly sent him $900.00. He goes by the name of Calvalli Ibiza.

Everything is a lie,

Diamond mine businessman
by: Anonymous

This is my first experience. I met the scam from interpals. Scammers name is Perry Parker. He asked me to go to WhatsApp in a few days to get to know each other. He claimed to live in Jacksonville Florida. His life was a very sad story. Parents got away when he was young. He was born and raised with his uncle in the US. He used a photoof a guy look like Chinese.

The pictures was very high, neat like a businessman. He refused to video call because of his experience in childhood. He tried to make up a story that he went to the meeting, working, and daily activities. Every day he always had a sweet word, honey, sweetheart, darling, my queen and loves me.

It was a red flag for many things. It took about 10 days. I sent an email to Scamhaters united. They checked the picture and found it was not real. Finally, I had a good friend advise and warn me. So you are not alone and let them know.

Just let everyone be careful!!

We can make mistakes.

Hate scammers

It's amazing how these incidents keep on happening. I have been aware of internet scams on romantic sites and others too, for a long time.

We should build a list of the names the scammers go by and also the profile frame that might present red flags all over.

In male cases, most of them are engineers, widows or divorcees. Even if they say they are from USA or UK, they turn out to be in places like Ghana, Laos, Uckraia, and with no means to get to their personal accounts or what ever.

This must stop. Is good you share your story. I'm sorry you lost $900.00, but at least it wasn't more.

You could keep him playing the game while you turn your case to the interpol. I asume you sent the money via western union or so, and you must have sent itto an specific name and place. That information could lead the police to open an investigation. If not, at least yuo'll scare the hell out of him.
