Major scam started on “words with friends”

Totally embarrassed with this whole situation. Every scenario I have read so far has happened to me. I lost $40,000 to an oil rig engineer in Gulf of Mexico. Went on from December 2017- March 2018. I’m just now getting back to normal.


Reported to FBI, with absolutely no help. He used the name of Leo Harry who was also on “Words with Friends.” He was on Facebook, but that was not his real name. He then told me to chat on Hangout. And the rest, like I said before, was the same crap everyone else on this site has gone through. I wish I knew who Leo harry was.

Sounds like the same guy now using the name Wayne Crouch, who said he was a German/American but sounded African. Wife and daughter died in car crash, had another daughter in boarding school in Florida. Had $700,000 in the Bank of America but account frozen due to law suit for oil spillage.
Then he asked for a £300 itune voucher to update iPhone.

Guessed it was a scam from day one but played along to see how far it went.

Think there was another name he maybe using of Gregory Keaton as similar attempt a few weeks before to get me chatting

Yes, it hurts a lot and I know what it feels like. You want to die out of shame and just because of all the pain but share it with you everywhere and it goes away. Imagine these filthy pictures of these common rip-offs. Someday I am building an Instagram page where we can all look for the faces and warn the ladies and gentlemen whose pictures were stolen.

I have already collected about 200 pictures of all stolen stolen pictures that come back every day on all social media.
