Luxury car business requires cash infusion and check fraud

(C)

Gena Brendler posed as a single dad living in PA who made his living buying beat up luxury vehicles and fixing them up and selling them to rich people in Europe. I met him on eharmmony and just before we were to meet, he said he went to Kiev to sell his car.

But he needed to get his car out of customs, so he needed me to moneygram him $3000. He said he would pay me back once he sold the car. Then, he had bank account problems and needed to use my bank account to have the seller deposit the money.

Fortunately, the bank fraud detection unit notified me that this was a fraudulentry check.

The "invester" later called me, telling me to send the money to my husband in Ghana.
