This guy just DM'd me on Instagram trying to woo me by saying this: You so beautiful and adorable i will say your wonderfully made The stars must be jealous. You shine way better than them You make my heart beat in a thousand different ways!!:)

First off his grammar and amount of pics compared to the date he posted them were ALL a red flag. He also has a fake Facebook page when I looked him up. It's Lowery Charlie and the same photos are listed but it says they were posted in nov. 2018. He has only 15 friends in which those 'friends'are from different parts of the world with barely any pics or friends themselves.

Do not respond to this creep! And if you do, proceed at your own risk!

He said he could prove himself. I said okay, live chat. He then disappeared. Lesson learned. Do your research, Ladies.

He then proceeded to ask me if I was patient and would I me patient with him - so I asked him what he meant and he said "if he wished to join me".

Him - Do you know I will love to join you if thing work out well with us ?

AT THIS POINT WE HAVE BEEN MESSAGING FOR MAYBE 2 HRS He became adamant about asking me if I was romantic and kept dodging my questions about how hard it must be for a single dad of a 14 year old to be away from their child for 4 years and who was looking after him. He said the military was looking after him. This guy moved way too fast so am thinking maybe he is newer at this that the last scammer I encountered. At this point I got tired of it all and shut it down - but this is pretty much how it started with the previous scammer except he was an oil rig worker - another common occupation for these guys. I did report the profile to POF.

His handle was Funinthemudwithme. Said his name was James Baako, single father to a 14 yr old and lived in Moncton, in the military and stationed for 4 years in Afghanistan.

It’s a sad commentary for all guys out there - if you are complimentary and nice to a woman upfront it will be not be trusted because of stuff like this.

Wauw! I googled him because of how fast he was calling himself my boyfriend! My story is exactly the same as Stacey’s on the 26th of September, but ‘my charlie’ is being deployed to Italy (I’m dutch so he had to find something in europe I guess).

He wrote himself down as my perfect match, all inspired by quotes I posted on Instagram! I almost believed him, until it just sounded to good to be true. Also, my English is better than his, and I’m just a foreign girl.

And now the best part comes, I wanted to confront him, because I’m talking on another gmail account then written here, and now I’m talking to 2 Charlie’s who both say that they are the real deal and the other one is impersonating him hahaha. And with the second Charlie, all of a sudden his wife is alive and can’t find out about us, because he’s dreaming of me, so I had to block the other account! But they both said that I have to block the other account hahahaha. Are there really more than 1 Charlie Lowery’s out there or is it all one guy?

I’m so glad I found this page, I reported his Instagram and a Facebook account on his sons name.

He found me on Instagram and his name is Steven Charlie Lowery. The same story, wife and mom died within two years. Then another message he said fiance so that kind of did not sync anymore. He even sent me pics of "him" with his dogs Bruno and Jack.

Then the second day, he asked if we can talk on the phone and he called me and from someone who says from US and grew up in Ohio but he has a differemt accent! He sounds Nigerian or someone from that region. I worked with a lot of Nigerians so very familiar with their accent.

So after the call, I googled the name he gave me and I found this site!

I reported his IG account.

He followed me on instagram about 2 weeks ago and gave me this story that he's an ssg in the US army and his name is Steven Charlie Lowery and his birthday is 19 october. He's 35, his son Collins is 10. His mum and fiance were killed in a car accident. He survived a car accident. He's been shot in the stomach.

He pulled all his army allowances for the year to pay for his dads kidney transplant. He's from Fayetteville north Carolina. Likes to be called Charlie.

He's currently being deployed to West Africa and left the US on deployment today 26/9/18. Requested I send him $500usd as the us army charge them a deployment fee to cover their benefits when they return. Gave me this "military agents" details to make a Western union payment.

The "agents" name is Sunday and is based in Nigeria.

Lived in Melbourne for a few years and is how he met his fiance Brooke. His sister died of cancer.
Wants to marry me and move to Australia with his son and move in together to start a life.

Did NOT send him anything at all because I googled everything he was saying. Played along with him for a little bit and have plastered his instagram with a scam link and reported the charlielowery_handsome account.

It is disgusting that somebody would steal a real soldiers photos and use some BS story to scam women.

Be smart girls!! Google EVERYTHING.

Ask questions! Be so careful, don't ever send money to anyone you have never met.

This guy has terrible English, but is still a smooth talker and will promise you the world.

He messaged me on facebook and wanted to be friends. I accepted and he immediately started talking to me but wanted to talk on hangouts. He starts telling you how he's falling for you. He told me he was from NC and had a son Collins and he even sent me videos of him and his son.

He told me he never talks on the phone because he was on the phone when his mom tried to call him and tell her where she and his fiancee were going and he didnt answer and his mom and fiancee were in a car crash that killed both of them and his dad needs a kidney transplant and all his money goes to him.

Before I knew it he was being deployed to Nigeria and need deployment fee of $700 I did fall for that, but then started to get suspicious and I asked different questions and he just side stepped them. Then the last stunt was he lost his phone and wanted me to send him $800 for another one.

That's when I backed off, and he was so mad about me telling him I didnt have the $ he didnt talk to me for a couple of days. He says he loves me and wants to marry me when he returns in October 2018. Im so mad right now I could spit nails.

I cant express my gratitude for finding this, I knew something was off.

I was already wary because I know of the online military romance scams so said to him video call me and then he started to give some nonsense story so I blocked him on IG and decided to check to see if he’s trying this on other people.

Anyway he’s still active on Instagram and literally just messaged me a couple minutes ago. I got weird vibes and deleted him. I looked up the name and saw this and it all makes sense! Don’t give a stranger money girls have more respect for yourself than that especially someone who you never met.

Were any of you sketched out how he found you and messaged you? It’s bizzare to me and I would never give a stranger money. Come on now.

I just heard from him on coffee meets bagel under the name Charlie Lowery. He very quickly asked me to talk on hangouts instead of the app. It seemed off to me when he said he liked me and it had been five hours of us talking, and then coffee banned his profile.

Met him on Instagram and now chatting through Hangouts. He has asked me for money and to send it through Western Union. He has prayed on me on my insecurities by making me feel good about myself by sending me love letters which are mainly copied and pasted into an email.

Our star signs match up and everything is perfect. He cant tell me much as he is based in Pakistan. Is a sargent. Comes from Alabama New York. His mother died. His Father having kidney transplant surgery. Spent all his money on his Dad. His late fiance was killed in a car crash.

He has also been in a car crash and survived. He goes to church on Sundays Hes been shot in the chest and survived. He is suppose to be coming over to Melbourne at the end of October on leave but wants to marry me.

Ive been scammed by him saying hes fallen in love with my heart and loves my mind and soul Karma will get you Ericson Lowery. He wants to give me the love I deserve like a fairytale. He follows lots of women on instagram. I even had one tell me to stop stalking him and that he is her man.

BIG SCAMMER and lost $4,000. Im based in Australia.

Thank You for posting his picture, so sorry you went through it with the rest of us on here. This site will help you believe me, I was so madly in love with my scammer and still miss him to this day, and I get messages from others saying he wants me to add him back.

I just cannot do that.

He broke me and my heart. My Best to you and I pray you get over him. He is not worth your heart ache and feelings for him even though I know it hurts. They love to play with our feelings and have not one bit of guilt in them. Take care and I really do wish you the very best.
